Hey, many thanks, I would be appreciated if you record a video about the appropriate body language during the group discussion 2 and how to interact with the other candidates my assessment day on 25th of November after four days

Hey)) I’ll definitely keep this topic in mind and might cover it one day, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to do it before your assessment day😬 Read about open body language, it might really help. Wishing you the best of luck 🤞 Let me know how it goes afterward, I’d love to hear about your experience)

Thank you! ❤ I heard they typically have open days during the first months of the year... is that true? I wonder if there's specific months or if it's rather ramdom 🤔

Whether it’s an Open Day or Assessment Day usually depends more on the location than the time of year. For example, Dubai only has Assessment Days, and it’s the same for Philippines or India, for example. In Europe, though, it’s mostly Open Days. I actually counted the upcoming events out of curiosity-there are 82 Open Days, 55 Assessment Days, plus weekly Assessment Days in Dubai until the end of the year. They hold a lot of recruitment events every month, and the numbers are pretty evenly spread)) So no need to way for January 😁

Dear I have a question ❤ if I have an assessment day with emarites tomorrow but I will not be able to go ... Can I apply again in December or will it affect my application or will I be black listed ... What is the action that will be taken from their side?

HI! Just found your channel and is quite useful for someone who aspires to become part of emirates cabin crew. Quick question if you dont mind: have you ever seen someone who works as a cabin crew who has a scar on their face? I have a scar o my forehead and it is a concern for me :/ I know that looks matter for them. Thanks in advance and have a great day :)

I’ve flown with crew members who had scars, but they were barely noticeable unless specifically pointed out. If your scar is mostly hidden or not easily visible, you might be fine. That said, I won’t sugarcoat it, Emirates is very strict when it comes to scars, especially on the face(

Hii! I’ve been in an AC for emirates, I made it to the final round. I got terminated during probation when I was working as cabin crew for Lufthansa because I didn’t upload my visa correctly. Will I ever have a chance with emirates even though I got fired? I wish I wouldn’t have told them that, because I think that’s the reason they didn’t take me. I tried to communicate that I take full responsibility and that I’ve learnt from that mistake and that (and why) I truly want to work for emirates but it didn’t help.
Do you think I’ll ever have a chance? I know emirates values honesty just as I do but I think should lie about having ever worked for Lufthansa…
I’d appreciate your opinion on that or hopefully you know someone from HR who can tell if I’ll ever have a chance…

hey, Patricia, thanks for sharing)) I know of a case where someone was terminated for lying about their previous airline, but that was with Etihad, where the GCAA contacted Emirates to verify details. Since Lufthansa is under European authorities, it’s less likely they’d find out unless you disclose it, but I can’t guarantee that. One thing is for sure: if you lie on your resume and they find out, it’s grounds for termination. Ultimately, it’s up to you whether to take this risk or not. But don’t blame yourself for being honest, better not to be hired than to be fired 😬
As for future chances with Emirates, it’s hard to say. They tend to prefer “unproblematic” candidates, but if you can convince them that you’ve learned from your mistake and it won’t happen again, you might have a chance, though it will be really tough. Maybe consider applying with other airlines as well?

@ thank you for that detailed answer!
Actually I’d only love to work for LH or Emirates…
I don’t know the reason for my termination m though, I just think it’s because of my visa, because I always had amazing feedback during probation and the only real mistake that really happened was the visa which was communicated to my manager. But after all they didn’t name any reasons because I’m in probation and they don’t have to. Today I also know/found out that there was a resignation wave especially when it came to employees that are in probation(it is easier to kick them out than others here in Europe, we all have permanent contracts, a union and a law that protects employees very well, but that law doesn’t work for employees during probation)
So I now believe it was unlucky timing and I have copies of my feedbacks (you get one after every flight during probation).
Do you think they will take that into consideration or not even read those? Any tips on how to talk about the termination next time? Maybe not mentioning the visa at all as a reason (since it was based on my own beliefs?)
