With the patience that 2b2t players have, I still can't explain why they haven't drained the spawn of resources. They could simply empty the spawn, create a huge obsidian cage, and fill the inside of the cage with materials that will not allow the obsidian to be destroyed. And create an isolated microworld in the spawns where new players could play until they got bored of being imprisoned.
That sounds way harder than destroying the landscape
That’s an idea: Building a huge obsidian cage that covers all possible spawn locations and then fill it with lava.
Or just leveling everything with a TNT duping flying machine.

I'm not a 2b2t player, so take this with a grain of salt.
If players made it literally impossible to get out of spawn then no one new would join. This would mean that eventually the server would die as no new blood comes in to replace those who decide to leave. I don't think Housemaster would allow that simply because he doesn't want the server to completely die off so he would probably simply either delete this hypothetical cage entirely or put a big enough hole in it to at least make it possible for new players to leave spawn and actually play the server.

Imagine just being a new player on 2b2t and then you just go and find a tree as always, the terrain around you is very destroyed but after a couple hundred blocks, you find a tree and you get some valuable resources needed to survive as any player would. Unknowing that you just started a war with military minds battling each other against virtual wood

I'm not even that into minecraft anymore but this whole 2b2t saga is fascinating.
Maybe try giving the server a shot once? Maybe escape Spawn? I mean, that's one of the best ways to experience the server. Just log in, escape Spawn and log out.
Like I said before, it's one of the best ways to experience the server, and also an experience that you'd most likely hardly forget.

Now I get it! The whole reason 2b's spawn is so hard to get past is because it's essentially a training ground for new players. It teaches them the harshness of the server. The ones who get past spawn are the ones that are tough enough to survive in the server's hostile environment
the 20 thousand block radius part is good info for new players, so they know how far to walk to get trees, especially for people with hacked clients that are new.

I was today years old when I learned that anarchy servers meant you are allowed to use hacks. When I was a kid I played on so many thinking it just meant you could kill people and there were no rules against it 💀
Actually depends on the server. I know one that uses anti-cheat plugins to prevent hacks. They won’t ban you for using hacks, but will patch all they get to know

@@dragontouched6848 those are pretty good still, but jungle trees are the biggest of them all, most wood per tree. If i had access to this server i would plant the things everywhere when i get just a stack or so of them. Then BONEMEAL.
@@markfriese5970 yeah , they are maybe the biggest trees , but i had noticed that jungletrees dont give you much saplings , which is a problem. sprucetrees are very rich in saplings and even one small tree could give you at least 1-3 saplings or even more under special circumstances. when you make a big one you get almost half a stack from one tree. yeah , they are maybe smaller , but you can spam them right away and annoy theamnotrees even mor with the big taiga- sprucetrees ;D. much wood in almost no time and you dont need much bonemeal for those to grow fast :D

@@chistinelane The only thing 2b2t players hate just as much as newbies is other 2b2t players. Sure, people create groups and teams to work together with like-minded players towards a common goal, but eventually all groups lose steam and motivation. And we all know that there's no such thing as friendship in 2b2t, "with me or against me", as soon as a group disbands, it's back to war.
It'd be really interesting to see how things would play out if you truly needed "a guy who knows a guy" to leave spawn.

It is technically possible to remove every tree and destroy every sapling item. If that happens 2b2t will become unplayable because trees will be unobtainable until the wandering trader is added.

When I escaped spawn I was lucky to find a recently greifed base that had a full on forest and potato farm in operation. Left a sign there thanking the recently dishomed owner for the resupply

There's a certain seed where I start with burning trees.
The reason why was that I needed space, and the first time I did that I made a city.
But not all trees were eliminated. Only those part of the island village I was on.
yea, it really is easy mode being able to complete the first requirement to do absolutely anything in the game.
