What people fail to take into account is each fighter's personality, which is why the fight ended ambiguously. SCP-682's goal is to make humans suffer as much as possible, and the best way to make Saitama suffer is by denying him a fight. This isn't the first time SCP-682 has made an exception for allowing a humanoid entity to live unharmed in his presence, and Saitama would probably fit into that category of exceptions. The most spiteful thing SCP-682 can do to Saitama is to literally deny him a fight.

not really sure, the only sorta feats we can get from scp 682 is from the scp explained videos in which he was actually killed by a bunch of scp 173s so idk but i feel like the way to counter a hard punch would to get high durability and saitama would probably start punching so hard that he ends up punching scp 682 to space, in which case, he would probably heat his body up to combat the cold and hold his breath for really long and sprout rocket boosters or smth idk lol

He still came back. He's written to be an absolute, permanent aspect of fiction. Like it or not 682 wins or ties every fictional character anyone could ever point out or invent. He's saitama's character except taken to it's fictional maximum

@@poppa2840 There isn't really a true canon to SCP 682 or any SCP for that matter, they are pretty much a collection of stories, and you pretty much choose what you think is canon or what you want to use when pitting SCPs against other characters, for example in one iteration SCP 682 is a universal constant, if you kill him it just destroys the universe.
man, it's just a site where anyone can write a story. There has never been a specific canon here; it arises only in the head of one person or a group of several agreed upon, but not on a site with posts.

Saitama is unlimited. So he can do whatever he wants. As long as he wants to hurt, he will hurt. But it's still a dead end road. There is an Scp 682 that does not disappear even at the molecular level. I'm sure they'll get bored of the fight.

I think the outcome is basically a tie/ 682 slightly ahead. While 682 can't hurt Saitama probably, neither can Saitama do any real lasting damage to 682. Should saitama use more force, 682 would adapt even faster and get way stronger, should Saitama use a ridiculous amount of power to one shot him, he would fail and they would both break through dimensions and reality itself and at that point it's a never ending battle unless one gets bored of the other.

He is called one fucking punch for a reason. If Saitama wants to end a fight with a single punch, he would give a name to that punch and it's over. If Saitama wants his enemy to take more hits or punches from him, he would not name his punch yet and just punch. But when Saitama wants to end the fight already, he would say what kind of punch he gonna do

The thing is 682 doesn’t just adapt he literally becomes almost immune to that attack the scp foundation wants to destroy him but their biggest and deadliest solution to him is is a nuke but the scp foundation doesn’t want to use because if somehow only one cell survived he will adapt to become immune to nukes so they have it as a last resort, as for saitama punishes he needs to punish him so hard his cells starts to burn or he will end up regenerating adapting and it will be even harder to kill

682’s durability is frankly stupid, both in the fact it is physically tough and endlessly adaptable, and that it as a concept is unkillable in its nature. It’s not just a reptile, it’s the universal concept of the hatred of life. Considering that 682 was wiped from existence, memory and history by something as powerful as 6820 and still managed to come back as an omniscient reality ending weapon of pure hate, even if Saitama punched 682 out of existence…it’ll come back more powerful and angrier than before.

The idea of superheroes taking on the SCPs is honesty really fascinating to me.

I think this is one of the few SCP that Saitama would lose to. He’s literally so immune to death he can come back from being removed from existence
I really dont see this going any satisfying way, like, i really doubt scp 602 is gonna power up so hard its gonna actually be able to kill saitama, this seems like a scenario where they would both just give up (which would be in character for them)
Depends on the situation. 682 is near invincible but his existence is more of a requirement than a exception. As long as he exists in some capacity he is fine. There is multiple types of SCPs that can outright end him, though normally they are the Armageddon kinds of SCPs sun as When Day Breaks, O Death, ect. As far as it goes 682's adaptability is also dependent on some realm of possibility as he does pretty much back off during plenty of cross testing.
Now, he CAN defeat Saitama by simply telling him it is bargain day at the super mart or something like that.

@@tjpprojects7192 yeah, he only adapts to what actually does enough damage to him that it would kill him without an adaptation. the acid isn't strong enough to trigger such a response, so 682 just sleeps until he either decides to breach or gets pulled out for testing

Gojira is a being (in the movie) where its biology is similar to a star fish being able to re-grow damaged limbs, and even being able to create a duplicate by splitting. It is likely that Gojira was a star fish beforehand. Gojira rapidly evolved and was a global threat. Fans belive he could be a universal threat due to the fact that Gojira adapts rapidly. In the clips shown here it shows Gojira setting multiple districts of Tokyo ablaze. The clip at the end shows a deleted scene where if the coagulant failed and a ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) had to be deployed to stop Gojira. This would fail miserably and Gojira would continue evolving and spreading wih the new GOJIRA-B variant which is humanoid and is about 30 meters in height. At this rate Gojira expands through china and to the east to advance to the Americas. Gojira would likely adapt a pair of wings to combat aerial vehicles. The entire globe would fall apart and Gojira would now evolve for interstellar advances. No one knows how powerful Gojira can be. Hence the name "Shin Godzilla" "Shin" translates to God.

Just a note about SCP682 His true potential is much higher than saitamas as his potential is his "soul" his soul being outerversal as he is a child of the scarlet king
Though it would take ages for him to reach said tier due to how he needs to fight stronger opponants to adapt to get stronger each time. an opponent like the gate guardian just body checked him and the growth was not exponential enough to allow him to reach his level in a short amount of time. He actually just gave up and its not the first time he has decided to not fight and speak. SCP682 he hates all creation but is not mindless he might just give up after a point even if he was on the same level if he found the fight more hatable than the opp or found the Opp more interesting than his hate

We did have a battle where 682 did grow to like multi galaxy in power and speed because he was an android AI spaceship on that level and they like had a saitama garou situation where they went from one end of the andromeda galaxy to the next end
