Think of it as Thor's last breath's fragment in thor 5, and Loki, being the god of stories now, bidding his brother a farewell, on the same place they saw their father pass away... Wouldn’t that be a tear jerker? And a proper sendoff to Thor?
@@Loki.Lyesmyth I concur... the two biggiest story arcs are those two for sure, with the Entire first 3 sagas of the MCU being centralized to Tony, and the honestly Loki being a big part of some of that(and a big catalyst to even some of Thor's growth), while also going on his own separate journey throughout the show. I am not the greatest fan of the MCU after the infinity Saga(mostly only watched the Spiderman, Doctor Strange, and a few of the shows... still haven't watched anything else), but the Loki show has the be the best thing to come out of post-infinity war MCU content(it even compares to the best moments before that saga ended). I wish we get some sort of projected Loki talking to Thor, in some way, simular to this vid(I might just watch that scene, even if I don't watch the movie it may be in).
Simple. Emptional payoff. Even well respected, well versed, and talented story tellers can falter at this defining moment. If done well, even subpar stories can become classics. If done poorly, something that is on the way of being a modern epic can be forgotten.
We need a new version of this were it's Thor suddenly appearing on Loki's "Yggrdisil Throne Room" from a Portal and them having a discussion mostly about Loki's Heroic Choice to become a Source that holds the entire Multiverse.
It can still happen if Loki takes part in Secret Wars (and I'm certain he will participate). We might witness a similar scene where the two brothers reunite.

I have no problem with Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau reuniting - it was a worthwhile element of an OK movie, in my opinion - but I would definitely give a Loki/Thor reunion a much higher priority! Not even on the same chart!
I think Loki Season 2 would be better because in Love and Thunder he wouldn't be as depressed and in such a painful part of his life anymore so all the emotion would be gone

Probably Loki S2, or between Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, something like Loki coming back to the prime timeline where he did escape (and where time travel exists, 616 universe) to alert avengers about imminent threat, reuniting with thor too :3c
All I want is for for MCU Loki to pick up Mjolnir and hand it to Thor, saying something along the lines of "I'd like you to meet my friends." And Thor smiling so hard that his cheeks squeeze tears from his eyes. I know. What I want is a LOT, but I think audiences would give that moment a standing ovation if that were their final interaction on screen. At least, I would.
Luckily, Marvel did state that in "Avengers: Kang Dynasty", or something along those lines, Loki would reappear, and I do believe that this probably means that Thor and his brother would finally see the sun rise upon them again.
I've pretty much left the MCU after Endgame. It's sad that so far there has been no such closure for Thor and the majority of movies afterward have been trainwrecks. And it makes me even more sad that THIS COMIC does everything I wish the MCU would do for Thor! The guy has been thru so much and what he needs more than anything is his brother back. He and Loki need to reunite and heal from everything that has happened between them. Loki NEEDS to return to Thor and tell him that everything is alright and that he is not alone anymore.

Just IMAGINE for a moment, this setting, this sound with the cliff side and the water, this music, actually happening. In a movie like secret wars where I can imagine so many bonkers action scenes and cameos beyond question, a beautiful peaceful tear-jerking moment like this. I don’t tend to cry very much but a moment like this might bring me close. Genuinely cathartic and a reminder of how much I care about these characters
This feels so real. Like its a real scene I can see happening in the MCU. I can totally see Thor getting mad at first until he sees the honesty in Loki and hugs his brother.

I know ... To be honest, if they did attempt at reuniting Loki with Thor, I seriously hate to think about how they'd go about it. It certainly wouldn't be like how this comic writes it.
It's almost as if Disney(mostly today's Disney) has this annoying mentality that it's somehow bad for younger people/kids to watch movies or TV shows that have heavy emotions when in reality... it's NOT bad and dare I say this, it has always been important for kids to know and learn about emotional moments or mature themes like dysfunctional relationships/friendships, bullying, depression, suicide, and more. Disney is literally overlysensitive and is such a bad company to work with.
This…breaks my heart. I need to see a reunion between these two. See Thor and TVA Loki meet, see Thor get upset that Loki once again pretended to die, only to come back, but then to have TVA Loki tell him that he is dead. He’s a different Loki, from a different time. And even see him apologize for everything Thor’s Loki did. And seeing Thor’s new daughter meet her Uncle would be adorable.
I’m sad this hasn’t happened, & now likely never will. I suspect if it does, Thor will just be like “oh Loki, you’re back. Love, say hello to Uncle Loki” business as usual 😂
This hits harder after the end of Loki season 2. I think Thor would be so proud of Loki, for sacrificing himself for his friends and loved ones that he makes Yggdrasil the sacred timeline
Season 2 should end with Loki going to thor on the timeline and going “Brother” and then they have a little emotional moment and Loki goes “We need your help” and sylvie and stuff come out and then it’s like “somethings coming, a war to end existence”
This is what Thor Love and Thunder needs to be more of, an emotion movie that tackles serious mental issues and trust instead of 80s pleasure as an excuse to be a bait-&-switch film of a character nobody asked for.
This needs to actually happen. Loki needs to be able to get off the throne once in a while and just for a moment, join a timeline. Have Thor and Loki catch up.
With s2 and what we know Loki can do now and what he did for a very very long time while trying to fix everything, I bet my ass that he at some point did just that. Thor may not remember it, but loki does.
The way the artist ABSOLUTELY NAILED the brotherly aspect to this is nothing less than impressive. You can see both the joy and pain seeing Loki again brings to Thor. . . simply beautiful.
This is the first time we see Thor shine in the light he’s suppose to. Watiti made WAY too many jokes with the 4th Thor movie. This was a god that had EVERYTHING. And he lost it his mom, his dad, his best friends, his home, his people (twice cause his sister and Thanos), his mentor, his brother, and his love interest. Yet he’s prancing around like nothing happened.
This scene is defintlely happening in Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars. I doubt Loki, as the new watcher and God of Stories, would NOT do this. and everyone will cry/cheer when it happens.

This is what Thor Love and Thunder needs to be more of, an emotion movie that tackles serious mental issues and trust instead of 80s pleasure as an excuse to be a bait-&-switch film of a character nobody asked for.
This needs to actually happen. Loki needs to be able to get off the throne once in a while and just for a moment, join a timeline. Have Thor and Loki catch up.

With s2 and what we know Loki can do now and what he did for a very very long time while trying to fix everything, I bet my ass that he at some point did just that. Thor may not remember it, but loki does.
What a time we are living ! Just now watched Loki season 2 finale and then came across this video which hits even harder on thinking 😢
The way the artist ABSOLUTELY NAILED the brotherly aspect to this is nothing less than impressive. You can see both the joy and pain seeing Loki again brings to Thor. . . simply beautiful.

This hits even harder after the finale of Loki Season 2
This is the first time we see Thor shine in the light he’s suppose to. Watiti made WAY too many jokes with the 4th Thor movie. This was a god that had EVERYTHING. And he lost it his mom, his dad, his best friends, his home, his people (twice cause his sister and Thanos), his mentor, his brother, and his love interest. Yet he’s prancing around like nothing happened.
This is even better when you realized Loki went back in time in s2
This should have been the ending of loki season 2 fr.. as he said "The last thing i want is a throne.."
This scene is defintlely happening in Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars. I doubt Loki, as the new watcher and God of Stories, would NOT do this. and everyone will cry/cheer when it happens.
