  • Are you working on speaking English more naturally? Are you trying to increase your spoken English comprehension by watching English movies? Are you trying to move from basic fluency to English speaking proficiency? If so, you’re going to love this English training video! I’m going to show you my method for analyzing and learning about speaking English by watching movies. If you love movies and are open to trying this method your entertainment can become an awesome learning tool as well. Speaking English more confidently requires you to practice. It’s a lot like what’s required to become a better musician or athlete. If you train your voice and ears to work together on the sounds of spoken English using this method, I think you’ll feel (and hear!) a big improvement. This English speaking lesson analyzes a movie scene for you, breaking down exactly what makes American English sound the way it does. This kind of training can help you transform your spoken English and increase your English listening comprehension. I hope you love it! Let’s get to work.

    Hi, Rachel. This is my first visit and I really had a good time. May I ask you a Question?
    What do you mean by „popcorn quality“?
    I can assume in the context. But It would be great, If you can explain more in detail.

    • @rachelsenglish
      @rachelsenglish  2 года назад

      Great to have you as a first-time visitor! :) I'm referring to what happens to the voice when you take a lot of energy out of it. So, when you speak with very little energy and breath support, that "gravelly", lazy quality is what I'm describing as "popcorn quality". I hope that helps! :)
