Usually the motorcade has several vehicles of the exact same model and all with bulletproof glass and blackened windows. A sniper would have a hard time determining which vehicle to target and the likelihood of a bullet penetrating the window would be negligible.

You can have enough money to hire goon squads for protection from normal threats, but a determined adversary can and will find a way past whatever protective measures you have in place.
