Always appreciate your channel, no bullshit and fluff, just straightforward. Keep preparing and moving forward. Appreciate it from your Appalachian Brother
Nice piece of Kit and well thought out, my rig is constantly evolving as i try to make sure i have everything i need in it for just in case! Be safe and God Bless Brother.
MR, Good rig setup. My experience has shown that in rubber banding gear the bands disintegrate fairly rapidly resulting in lost gear. Solutions are check & replace often or velcro bands. Too old and broken up to 'run & gun' myself. Now I am more 'stay n play' from a distance. From the 👍. Best
@ModernRefugee My experience has been that bicycle innertubes cross cut last far longer than any rubber band. But even those require an occasional check. You can get the tubes for free at any bicycle repair shop. They also make excellent wraps for my chainsaw handles that I find are slippery when using gloves. The tubing gives a super grip a whole new meaning.
Thank you for sharing! I bought a Gerber... but have no idea how to assemble and use the sheaths. If you get a moment can you please do a video on how to use them? Thanks, -Jill
Nice stuff but I find as Im getting older Iam choosing to want to carry less stuff.. I really like the condor (im sure there are others) flat type rig that fits 6 or 8 mags across with molle on the outside. Keeps it a lot flatter. You can holster or med pouch to the molle without alot of bulk.
Is the rig waterproof or water resistant ? If not you might want to get a can of scotch guard or my favorite is kiwi camp dry and give it a spray. I use it with good results on my various day packs and ATV cargo bags.
Great setup. Lets pray we never have to actually use these. Unfortunately, the likelihood we will seems to increase on a daily basis. The tin foil hats have pretty much disappeared these days.
Any video that shows the woods of beautiful Michigan gets an automatic thumbs up 👍

Thank you. Take care in these days.
Nice kit, don't forget snacks. It's always good to have a cliff bar or trail mix stuffed somewhere in case you get hungry on watch or patrol.

I like the setup and looks more like a security or homestead setup love it very practical ... thanks for sharing
Yes that is basically what it is.

I am going to keep an eye on them and see how long they go before degradation occurs. I have also looked at using shock cord.
Shock cord. Good idea. 👍

Solid vid, thank you. I would like to see more about the water purification kit. Also I would like to see more on this series.
In the future I can do a video on it.

What Gerber do you have?
@@ModernRefugeemight she mean Garberg? Those Mora products can come with a sheath kit that is confusing. There should be videos out there on it.
I like this set up! I need to work on something better for sure, thanks for the video brother 👍
I’m constantly working on and refining my gear. Have a good day my friend.
I have a 1961 rig and a 7 pocket Condor , been looking at the HT stuff particularly this rig

Any fire starting gear, or is that on your person? Looks like a good setup, thanks for your content.
I keep a lighter with tape with my EDC carry in my pants pocket.
Nice setup Modern. Take care
Thanks. You take care as well.
you always have clever efficient concepts

I can spray it down with some scotch guard. Thanks for the idea. I never thought of that.
Nice rig! good 👍
Great info!
Nice
Cool vid thanks for sharing!
Interesting rig!
Thank you!
Very nice!
Thanks MR 😎👍
Is it good for AKM mags 7.62x39?
Although I haven’t tried it, I believe they would fit. Because it’s basically a double mag pouch so it would be wide and deep enough.
Good setup , thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !
Thank you! God bless you and yours.
I’m a big fan of 6 mags. I don’t understand why some people only carry 3 if you need to use your defensive tool I think you will
Need to use it a lot.
Yeah ammo capacity is a thing.

I agree
