Maya has valid reason to have negative sentiment towards OTK, but these three together genuinely seemed to enjoy each others company and gold tier content was produced as a result. I REALLY hope they stream together someday soon!

Cheaper wines are generally bottled and sold within the year(also a lot sweeter) and don’t need to breathe. as for more expensive wines they need to be left open in a decanter because they are older and the chemical complexity from being in the bottle for a lot longer needs to be removed before drinking. Sorry I like wine

Liking red wines is a learning process because tannins make it bitter and astringent. That’s the reason most people prefer red wines with residual sugar but that’s not a sign of quality and probably is not a honest wine. Sort of a concoction where the winemakers try to hide faulty grapes.
Yo assess the quality you need a lot of training and be objective even when you try your least favourite style of wine. For example a rich Amarone is way different than an elegant and delicate Pinot Noir.

I usually dont comment but I've been to a local wine market multiple times because of the amazing service and he honestly told me, the wines that even ppl who really enjoy wine, the wine they drink daily (casual alcoholism lmao) can range from like 7-25$ so if you really enjoy a 'cheap' bottle of wine (7-12) thats great!

The most expansive one doesn't mean is good or better to drink.
If you want to get rid of that acidic bitter taste you have to air it out. The acid (there's a specific acid in there I can't remember the name) it will vapor off leaving it less astringent.
For champagne and wine you have to know when it tastes more like ass its probably expensive

Thanks for this wine tasting stream. At least i know now that expensive wines can taste like dirty rags, rear ends, mulch, pp, vinegar and other disgusting things. :-) And the fact that great tasting wines CAN BE REALLY CHEAP TOO.

Many of those expensive wines should breath (be left open) for an hour before drinking them. Especially older wine bottles.

As a rice wizard, you NEVER follow the directions on the bag. It says a ratio of 1 to 2 which makes your rice overcooked every single time. All you do is a ratio of 1 part rice to 1 1/2 parts liquid. Example you measure out 1 quart of rice, you would then need 1 1/2 quarts of water to cook it perfectly. Bring the rice up to a boil, stir it once it boils, and turn the heat down to medium low. You don't need a cover that shit is a myth. Once the rice is done, THEN you want to cover it for 5 minutes to help steam the rice and boom. Perfect rice.
