I'm tired of all the drug commercials of today.
I literally don't know a single person who has plaque psoriasis or ulcerative colitis. But that's all I ever see ads for.
@@veelalynne That's moderate to severe plaque psoriasis lol. I love it when they say "do not take if you are pregnant or can become pregnant." Most all women can become pregnant.
@@jamesolson7179how about may cause explosive diarrhea 😂😂
@@alangray9117 Explosive diarrhea LOL Then after that comes a drug commercial for chronic diarrhea.
Same here with you.
I love seeing these old commercials! They bring back so many memories. Thank you!
9:10 I loved maps and globes, and in the last year of his life, when I was 21, my Grandfather bought me one of those Nescafe coffee cups with a globe design. I'm sure I thanked him for it, but I never thanked you enough for all you did for me, Grandpa!
These old commercials bring back so many wonderful childhood memories. The TYCO race tracks were some of my favorite toys as a kid. I was born in 1967 so the 70's were my childhood. I remember the fireworks🎆🎇🎆🎇🎆🎆🎇🎆 during the 1976 celebrations. I was 8 years old. I didn't turn 9 until October. Some other amazing memories were at the 📽🎥🎞41-Twin🎥📽Drive-in🎞🎥📽. In the beginning there was one huge screen that was showing movies on both sides. The north screen and the south screen. Then later on they added another two screens at the back of both ends. By the big screens, actually in the grass in front of them there were playgrounds for the kids. They had swing-sets, monkey bars, a sandbox, and other little "rides" for kids. Those "animal" rides on those springs that rocked back and forth. They had 4 or 5 of them as well. Two really nice concession stands. It was an awesome thing to hear your parents ask, "Do you want to go to the Drive-in?". These commercials remind me of so many incredible moments, experiences, memories, and really great times. The best day of the week was Saturday, Friday was a close second. 🌄🌄Saturday🌄mornings🌄🌄 were always the best times. Waking up early, getting your bowl of cereal, plopping your butt on the 🛋couch🛋 in front of the 📺🖥television🖥📺 then 💥poof💥 CARTOONS!! There are so many different things that nowadays kids are missing. With all of the technology nowadays kids can access anything instantly. Where as back in the 70's we didn't have that option, however it gave us something to look forward to. It just seems like everything was more laid back, and a little bit better than nowadays. Food tasted better, especially cereal, 📺TV📺 shows were better as were the movies. Back then kids weren't begging for the newest $900.⁰⁰ I-Phone. We wanted a new bike, or a new big wheel, or a skateboard. Heck even COMMERCIALS were better back then. I miss those days.
In that promo for The World's Strongest Men, that's former Olympic weightlifter and pro wrestler Ken Patera running the refrigerator race. He's the younger brother of the late former head coach of the NFL Seattle Seahawks, Jack Patera.
Ken patera was in the WWF or WCW
@@LindaMerchant-bq2hp Patera was with NWA in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, AWA, and WWWF/WWF. I don't remember him ever working for WCW.
Wow! First commercial, tyco racing set. My uncle and i had that thing. He was born in '70, me in '74. Right off the bat, childhood memory unlocked. 😊
Gotta respect the "Super Look" ads, they literally didn't even attempt anything besides butt shots. 😂
Ya I had that night glow race track so awesome seeing these :)
Yeah! More 70s ads. Keep 'em coming! With the strange disappearance of MicroJow, we need all the vintage ads we can get!
I noticed that too. It bummed me out. I hope it doesn't happen to this channel.
@@guerralg63 the channel is still there, but I suspect the videos have all been set to 'hidden'. Whether Microjow did it on purpose, I have no idea. I know he was having a bit of a fight with RUclips about monetization, copyright, etc, so maybe he just got tired of the whole thing. Either that or RUclips sorta shadow banned him, and he isn't aware that nobody can see his videos
@JonesMediaMan , I guess youtube didn't like all of the comments from people who wished they could go back to the old days. I can't imagine why they would give him such a hard time.
Naturally beautiful humans, what a concept.
Ted Dansen doing a head and shoulders commercial. Wild
Tom Selleck did print ads for Salem and Winston cigarettes. Lyle Waggoner did a TV commercial for Tareyton cigarettes "us Tareyton smokers would rather fight than switch 😂😂😂.
I wish today's Lucky (Lucky Charms) had an Irish accent as good as the Lucky of my childhood.
Lucky still has his Irish accent, only it's subdued. 🍀
