@@TheVirginian2005you can stack quests because you can do “associates captured by bandits”, for 3k and “bandit hideout near X” for another 3k for the same hideout and the prisoners can be used in landowner needs slaves for about 2k for one hideouts worth of bandits
Something to keep in mind though, selling those bandits at a tavern increases your roguery skill, and upping your roguery skill ups the amount of loot you get. So later in the game when youre fighting armies you end up with way more stuff to sell. Which is how you get stupid rich. Win battles, sell loot. Repeat
You can chain the quests to rescue an npc from bounty hunters and villagers wanting a bandit bade destroyed. It's called the Flesson Special. (Flesson is another youtuber). Also, if you duel the bandit boss you get all the ones standing behind him as prisoners.
I've never managed to find these two quests together in practice personally, but it would be a great pay day! Thanks for the correction on the bandit duel resulting in prisoners either way 💪
@@ESOdanny its tricky because the quests will spawn in the area where the hideout is located, but for my playthough i got the same quest on the same location ways off from where i was.
I love seeing these videos because I started playing the game at launch but had almost zero clue on what to do so I was just raiding villages but that wasn't working for me but watching this series has helped me alot

I'm disappointed it doesn't support mods like Fallout 4 did with consoles. I was really placing my bets on having the Eagle Rising mod that everyone has been using. Once again us console players get stuck with the vanilla version and PC players can mod to the point where the game breaks. 🤣
Something you missed but important, in addition to the Bandit Base missions that can be found. Gang Leaders can give you the exact same mission, though this one is called "Associate Captured by Bounty Hunters". It's literally the exact same, it sends you to a Bandit Hideout and you clear it out, with no associate to return, it just completes it upon the destruction of the hideout.
You duel the boss in bandit bases as they guys behind him WILL be prisoners. For bandit bases also take the quest from town to get double the payment. I actually put this video out using aseri troops 2 months ago. Once your Aserai troops hit tier 3 go to Khuzait land as they have bows but aserai now have javelins and Khuzait pay more as the reward for laborers quest pays more for cav troops which khuzait is 100%, I get 10k-20k pe bandit base. Merc contract is 20% influence, rounded down +1 X merc contract. For the marriage offer, before accepting look her up in the encyclopedia first to see if she is what you want for skills or level. Relation is simple to get, the skills/age/level is more important.
Just FYI - when you duel the hideout bosses 1-on-1 the rest fo the troops behind him get captured when you win the fight - so duelling is a good way to capture more than fighting.
I don't know if it's been changed but for me, you can only give them so many prisoners. It's 30 something and if you go over it'll actually make you remove some then the quest will just end
During seige build trabutsha and pause immediately and put them in reserve . Until you have 3 or 4 of them plant them togather and they will break the walls no problem. It's really underrated.(excuse my Grammer)
Smithing is still the superior way of snowballing denars. But, if you want to make some denars without having to battle so much, I highly recommend trading Jewelry (buy at around 200 denars, sell it anywhere for up to 470), Tools (with some luck you can find it for under 50 denars, and sell for triple the value), Salt (good for starting, buy for around 10 denars, and you can sell for up to 55 or 60 denars). It is a slow way, but it is quite good.
I just keep making 2 handed swords with 5 other companion to help. Level up the smithing insanely fast by refining. Once you get the 100% part rate perk it’s smooth sailing from there
Do not smelt them. That will destroy them. You need to forage them. You smelt down weapons to learn more pieces to make better quality. Its expansive to start out but once you get good high level and learn more pieces great income. Plus making custom weapons. I got a 1 handed sword with 120 range.
A really good way to do the horse missions is to higher lyd the horsethife. You pay him to do the mission, but he does it really cheap. I spent 500 gold to send him and get 8-10k gold. But to use him you have to have horse troops.
Thanks for the video/series. I wasn't going to get into this game. The two year early access just made any excitement I had fizzle out. Since it's on game pass I downloaded it and it is a blast. Hope the views come in for you, your content is top notch.
Make sure if you get a quest from the village that says bandit base nearby check the city and castles the village is linked to as the castle and cities and other villages may have quest that link to that same base being destroyed, because they can and do stack.
It's really easy to make money as mercenary. just attack parties with less soldiers than you and sell their equipment + ransom prisoners. It's easy to hunt them when they are raiding villages. And recruit anyone you can to keep party size big. For me 1 war is usually 600k-1.2 mln income. Oh, and don't forget about workshops, passive income is important too
Multiple times ive tried that quest to acquire horses for a noble. I find a village, buy the horses, track down the noble to deliver them, only to find them currently fighting a losing battle and they get captured, ending the quest with me out the money for the horses.
If we're opening it up to exploits, you can sell noble prisoners to a town that you own and then take them out of the dungeon and sell them again. One time i had 50 lords in there plus two heads of state. I was making 180k per sale on loop.
I tryed to fallow this guide .. the person asking for prisoner as a limit so you cant just give him unlimited prisoners in the 20 days... I did it twice and both times it stopped at 33.... also... it took me 2 hours to actually find the quest .. and I ad to re load my save 3 times as the bandit base wouldt spawn... it easier to do tournaments and sell the unwanted equipment .. in 2 hours going round doing tournaments I made 4xs as much money as I did from the prisoner mission
I started a game and went from tournament to tournament and got 78k in 15 days if there are two or more nobles present in the tournament you can get tier 6 horses and tier 5 armour that sells for 5-17k each
Keep the armour . Sell the horses.. like 3 times round in a circle you will be kitted out to the max with plenty of money .. pritty boring tho those tournaments once you done like 500 haha

I dont do black smithing. Like you say too boring at least tournaments I kill people haha... unlucky.. I was getting boots . Gloves and a southern chain mail armour often all like tear 4 and above ..
Vanladian work too,and the 2nd level are club mace types too,also merc macemen work really well also,and if you Lev 2 handed maces in smithing till u unlock the mallet head,&supplement them with sledgehammers,& give them to your party members.. soo many prisoners you have to dump some ;)

For some reason, I have it in my head that they changed how troops gained xp, some patch ago, making it easier to level up individuals as they go, not having to level up a whole group. No idea if I am imagining that or not, would have no idea where to go look and see either.
Have no fear when I am here. Indeed, they changed the troop level up a few patches ago. Now, let's say you have 20 Imperial Recruits~ You go ahead and take them to a battle, after the battle you see that 5 of those recruits are ready to upgrade. BUT DO NOT UPGRADE THEM RIGHT THEN! Because the troops who are ready to upgrade will share multiplied xp with the other troops of the same type(Imperial Recruits in this case) from every battle they join from that point on. So you will notice that after another battle, instead of 10 or 15, almost ALL of your recruits will be ready to upgrade even though only 5/20 were ready just 1 battle ago. Like magic. So don't upgrade troops when 2-3 of em are ready to upgrade; instead Bulk upgrade them all at once

The way I made money, was literally just doing tournaments for money and selling the rewards until I could buy a workshop in a high prosperity town, then a caravan.
Like I say about 6m in the went south from battania sold all our troops and replaced them with aseri recruits. For the purpose of this guide. I'll be live streaming today however
Not everyone can make money fast but you can become a vassal and join army's get what items you get sale then buy the 22500 caravans and thrive if you have 4 caravans and your brother in your party you'll make bank should only take about 13 hrs of game play and you will be set just need to start as a mercenary really and join army's that are strong

When it comes to marriage I thought you only gained the other person into your clan if it was a woman marrying a male in your clan. I was pretty sure when I accepted a marriage proposal for my younger sister she was removed from my clan.

Why does everyone push the laborers quest instead of the Gang Recruits? At the start of the game the quest will want 7-8 recruits... If you go the cheapest route which is just giving him basic looters it pays you 1800 Denars. Is there something I am missing when it comes to the quest?
Idk about the rest of you but I'll take the smithing root and do the villager glitcher for 700+ roguery for easy weapons to smelt and make 5 mil with 100k gold
5:41 it does not allow you to transfer those prisoners because it says he is only requesting 11 prisoners and the bottom to settle the agreement is off. How did you transfer them then? I am so stuck on this step
The Landowner Needs Manual Laborers quest won't let me continue after i've brought the designated amount of forced volunteers no matter what option. Won't even let me trade more than the quest is for, like if the quest was for 36 and i'd already brought him 16, I come back and won't let me turn in more than what the quest is for. Is it a bug? Or not in 1.9?

Manual labors lowers your honor/mercy points as well as not dueling the boss's. IDK if thats new or not but I had to reset a save to regain my traits

if you want to earn money, don't destroy the bandit lair, think of it as a generator and use it for unlimited bandit hunting with mace units

Spent eight hours running around the desert trying to trigger these random quests. The grind is real 🤣

great video , prisoners there is a cap of 49 initially and then goes up .. no idea how high , i got sum up to 61 on some quest ...
You did not mention caravans. Are caravans a viable option to make passive income???
That manual laborers quest have max prisoner cap. Nonetheless , it's still better than cities.

The Landowner Needs Manual Laborers quest won't let me continue after i've brought the designated amount of forced volunteers no matter what option. Won't even let me trade more than the quest is for, like if the quest was for 36 and i'd already brought him 16, I come back and won't let me turn in more than what the quest is for. Is it a bug? Or not in 1.9?
