@@yeahhobbs She improves with every day that goes by. You can actually hear the growth of her voice as she matures from year to year. She was almost 6 feet tall at 13 and her voice grew with her! She did I Have Nothing at 13 and just this past week at 16, and she is amazing at13, phenomenal at 16!
I love how she did this one, but with all the vocal fry you don't really hear how good her voice is. She has a warm, textured, full and well rounded voice, and very developed technical singing skills and breath control. The ability she has to get into the minds of previous singers especially soul a jazz singers, is remarkable. With her natural born talent she is able to almost perfectly create the moment in each of those artists regardless of age and experience. It’s uncanny how she can emphasize so perfectly the emotions of these artists with clever percision on the notes.

She sings songs that reaches into the depths of human emotion. “IPASOY” is not really in that category. Make no mistake, it is definitely an incredibly energy packed “tour de force”, but”sublimely beautiful “?… not quite. There is one significant caveat to that claim I just made. It was the general expression when a 7-year-old girl sang 'Gloomy Sunday' at a talent show in Norway, the same expression of astonishment and disbelief when, after wowing the audience at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium with her version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', people put his name in the YT search engine and came across the most amazing music video ever (sorry Michael) performed by a 9-year-old girl, 'I put a spell on you'.

I love how she did this one, but with all the vocal fry you don't really hear how good her voice is. She has a warm, textured, full and well rounded voice, and very developed technical singing skills and breath control. It will give you an example of where her voice is today and how she often change songs when doing covers, though because she has experimented so much through the years (that sentence make it sound like she is more than 16 😀) she will continue to surprise you. She started studying all the greats of Jazz soon after under the guidance of her Iranian Grandmother Mery Zamani a child prodigy in her own right as an artist and poet. English is Angelina's 3rs language behind Norwegian and Farsi along with japanese and some German and perhaps more. She did this from 2 & 3 yrs old by scrolling thru RUclips of all their most Iconic performance. Angelina doesn't just mimic these greats, she reinterprets them and then simply sings them the way they were meant to be sung. She makes them her own.
Angelina was begging her mother to go on "that Simon show" when she was 3 yrs old. encouraged to sing children songs, she would have none of that. Angelina chooses her own songs and she is absolutely fearless. No song is too big and no artist is too Iconic. All the most Iconic songs by the most Iconic singers in music history. Angelina has said singing to her is as important to her as breathing. She will sing anything Acapella at any time and often does. Yes she’s real. Normally I’d say definitely react to “I Put a Spell on You”… one of the most incredible covers EVER… at ANY age (she was only NINE years old).
BUT…
She may have outdone herself recently with her tribute to Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds”. It was released about three weeks ago - two days before the release of the movie “Elvis”. This is Angelina NOW… at sixteen years old. React to BOTH of them, they will both blow your mind!

One of the most incredible characteristics of Angelina (IMHO) is to sound sublimely BEAUTIFUL. She sings songs that reaches into the depths of human emotion. “IPASOY” is not really in that category. Make no mistake, it is definitely an incredibly energy packed “tour de force”, but”sublimely beautiful “?… not quite. There is one significant caveat to that claim I just made. The last thirteen words of “IPASOY”, sung a capella is not only a “tour de force”… a “ne plus ultra” of a capela singing…

It is sad of me but I keep expecting a Milli Vanilli scenary from decade's ago to blow up with this very talented girl.
I have seen her singing live on RUclips videos and yet I still get ny doubts.

Yeah, I know, you would think there is no way. It's impossible. But that's exactly what Angelina has specialized in since she was 6. Her best cover is usually the last one you heard.
Mind blown like all of us! Next you should watch the black and white version of "I put a spell on you" which she recorded at the age of 9, yes NINE!! After that you will never doubt again! If you like jazz you should listen to her in-studio rehearsal of "I'm a fool to want you" (she was 11). Here she sing this Sinatra classic like Billie Holiday. You should also check out her original called "Shield" The live version. She as more than 170 video on YT and they are all worth a listen. This girl is a prodigy that will mature to become one of the greatest singer ever.
