Baby fuzz wrote it for AJ who's mother would not let her release it because the end refers to suicide, and then 10 year old AJ she gelt it was inappropriate, so fuzz went and recorded it himself and leaked her version when his dropped to capitalize on the controvers3y. A sinister brilliant play, they both advanced their celebrity, and got media attention. And we got this masterpiece from who was intended to sing it. There was a faction out for him until ajs mother said it was ok.

Angelina was asked to sing it as a demo, which she did, having only the lyrics and melody to guide her. Fact. For reasons unknown, Angelina's performance was never released Fact. She only ever sang this once due to perceived suicidal ideation. Specifically relating to the last verse re a baptism, head under water etc. I don’t 100% know if it does or not but her mum pressed it upon her to disassociate herself from it. It’s a shame as I find this to be one of her most haunting and powerful performances. In saying that, her own more recent song, Million Miles, which she wrote in honour of her grandad just after he passed, is utterly mesmerising. Honestly, there’s never going to be enough superlatives to express AJ’s talent.

This is a chicken or the eggs question when it comes to the melody approach. Angelina recorded her demo before baby fuzz put out this song so did he get inspired by her approach and timing or such? I’ve heard Baby Fuzz sang this song after he heard Angelina’s version after he found out Angelina’s Management did not want to release Angelina’s song. Someone released his recording, no one knows who.
Angelina recorded this before Baby Fuzz did. He wasn't aware she had done this, until this was leaked at the same time as Fuzz released his. Big controversy over why it wasn't released. Lots of guesses but no conclusions. The only thing I'm aware of, Angelina would never publicly perform this song again. I imagine copyright infringements might have something to do with that. The video is done by a fan. This piece is also my favourite. And to think she was just 10 years of age when this was recorded.

Still, the rumor is that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. I have to politely disagree. Just because this song was leaked and we heard it first doesn’t make it an original. It is a cover. Baby FuZZ recorded a demo first. Angelina used his demo with her vocals to record her demo. Neither demo was meant for public release. Baby FuzZ officially released a version of this song on a later date. Whether his released recording of the song is identical to his demo or it was modified we don’t now. Also, since the song was shopped to different artists for possible recording, we don’t know if any other artist recorded a demo that was not released. Generally speaking the first official release of a song by an artist is considered the original. That doesn’t take away from Angelina’s performance which is beyond amazing. This is a chicken or the eggs question when it comes to the melody approach. Angelina recorded her demo before baby fuzz put out this song so did he get inspired by her approach and timing or such? It really doesn't matter at this point because Angelina Jordan put out a masterpiece of his song which he wrote with others and where Angelina produced the demo with others
It’s been reported that her demo came out before Baby Fuzz made his recording. He wrote it but hadn’t released it when she demoed it, so instead of her covering him, he was actually covering her.

I’ve heard Baby Fuzz sang this song after he heard Angelina’s version after he found out Angelina’s Management did not want to release Angelina’s song. Someone released his recording, no one knows who.

Angelina recorded this before Baby Fuzz did. He wasn't aware she had done this, until this was leaked at the same time as Fuzz released his. Big controversy over why it wasn't released. Lots of guesses but no conclusions. The only thing I'm aware of, Angelina would never publicly perform this song again. I imagine copyright infringements might have something to do with that. The video is done by a fan. This piece is also my favourite. And to think she was just 10 years of age when this was recorded.
I'm still holding out for you song written by Brandon Lowry, "also goes by Baby Fuzz," Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio demo cut but rumor is Angelina's mother didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and the demo cut was not released. Later the demo was pirated from Angelina, and pictures were added and put online at the same time the song was released by Baby Fuzz causing some confusion. Still, the rumor is that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. Sorry, his offical video, published 12/9/18, (two years later) was met with very little fanfare. He has since, given her Copyright and his blessing to make a proper recording of the song. (I Believe this to be one of her greatest works.🌺
I have to politely disagree. Just because this song was leaked and we heard it first doesn’t make it an original. It is a cover. Baby FuZZ recorded a demo first. Angelina used his demo with her vocals to record her demo. Neither demo was meant for public release.
Baby FuzZ officially released a version of this song on a later date. Whether his released recording of the song is identical to his demo or it was modified we don’t now. Also, since the song was shopped to different artists for possible recording, we don’t know if any other artist recorded a demo that was not released.
Generally speaking the first official release of a song by an artist is considered the original.
That doesn’t take away from Angelina’s performance which is beyond amazing. As much as I prefer Angelina’s version, I also appreciate Baby FuzZ version. For as much as we enjoy the fruit of a tree, we should also appreciate the seed that started it all.

I'm sorry.......actually, I'm not sorry...........but Baby Fuzz should stick strictly to writing lyrics (which he excels at based on this song), and leave the vocalizing to Angelina! Absolutely no comparison in my opinion ---- and she's TEN!
