In January of 1989, ARSON came into existence! Arson was a lethal quintet with Chris Duarte's sonic guitar backed up by twin saxophones, bass, and drums. A combination of two R&B guys (Chris Duarte and John Jordan) playing with three jazz cats (Alex, John Mills, and Chris Massey) created innovative musical dynamics and ideas that heavily influenced all of the players involved.
This is an extremely rare track that has probably been heard by less than ten people total! A pristine sound board recording from way down in the depths of the CDG vaults! This is Arson doing their cover of John Coltrane's, Love Supreme! This is long, it's experimental, and it's way out there! It's also a side of Chris Duarte that many people have never heard or seen!
So consider yourself warned! Now turn this puppy up!
