    You’re an excellent teacher. If you don’t already know it or have done this, you’re a natural. You have a natural inclination to explain simply, repeat as necessary, add things as reminders (“Bing,Bing,Bing”). As someone who’s taught for decades, you’re terrific. I just watch you to watch you. I don’t even wanna cut hair. Brava, girl!

    Thanks for making this series! I’m in cosmetology school, and I have to say I’ve learned more through your videos than in school. I appreciate these guides on the haircutting basics as I’m struggling with cutting. Hope to see more of this series! Maybe even some really short basic cuts/basic men’s cuts.

    Ugg were you when I needed this! My hair is semi curly and it was long I had a girl who would flat iron my hair straight then would use a clipper to cut it straight lined but she went out of business and I started trimming my own hair well I messed it up and now it is so short. When it is long enough to cut again I will demand whoever cuts my hair to do it just like this!! I am so about even and balance! People who have cut it in past it always is one side is always longer and it drives me crazy! I do part my hair a little to the left side part…

    I cut my own hair. Same style. But what I do after I flip it to all in one side then i cut what ever is longer. Then I flip to the other side and do the same thing to make sure there is no little hair strands longer. Then I comb it all back and see again if there is anything off. So whatever I part my hair I don't see anything hair off.

    Doing a 180, I never hear you talk about using Olaplex?
    I used to use it in 2020, but then stopped, until
    the end of Jan an I started doing stand alone treatments an no 3 treatments an now my hair is brittle an falling out !!! I stopped Olaplex ! Thoughts ?
    If you don’t have time I’ll figure it out an ty for your content.
    Perhaps a future video on the whys thinning hair ?

    • @BrittneeAlexus
      @BrittneeAlexus  Год назад

      I don't really care for Olaplex so I don't mention it much. to use maybe once a month is fine but over use will cause more damage (and most people have a tendency to overuse it) it's too $$$$ there are much more comparable brands (phPlex, bondbar) I would try one of those or finish what you have but def cut back on the usage

    Another non related question: what is Pravana Silk Degrees an could I have caused my platinum mess to break off by alternating it with olaplex 1x/wk for a month? 😢😮😢…then I did a protein treatment, then two weeks ago I went to non sulphate moisturizing s&c….obviously, I am Not a hair pro😂…but oh I could use your help. Shut in taking care of sick hubby an can’t get out. If you or anyone in the group has any insight, I’d be ever so grateful. Love your stuff, B.

    • @BrittneeAlexus
      @BrittneeAlexus  Год назад

      That is for porous hair to use before you color it for a richer color. Would not use that with olaplex, both are protein based and too much will cause the hair to snap off

      typically you cut the first few cuts shorter (undercutting) not always though, this changed the direction when I moved the head forward so it would be a tad shorter the first few sections. then you cut the hair as it falls in natural position (head upright) i hope that made sense. I have a hair channel @brittneealexushair that will be going into haircutting soon
