Angel Blue as Aida? Garanca as Amneris? The world must have gone crazy! Only Lisette Oropesa's Alcina, Lise Davidsen's Elisabeth and Bychkov's Rusalka interest me.
That'll be a great season! I hope I can travel to London next year to watch some of these productions - especially Il Trovatore, La Traviata, and Le Nozze di Figaro. Thank you so much for sharing it!
Horrible. A perfect disaster. How conservative can it be? The only interesting spot is Saariaho (and, to be slightly benevolent, Wozzeck with Gerhaher). The rest may not be silence... but it is indeed corny, cheesy, deprived of any interest whatsoever. Better stay home...
@@laprimmadonna2341 Even we at our Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires are far better done! Besides several new productions, includng Romeo Castellucci´s "Resurrection", Barrie Kosky´s "Magic Flute", Stefano Poda¨s "Faust", Pablo Maritano´s "Il Turco in Italia", Alfredo Arias´s "Rake´s Progress", Damiano Micheletto´s "Lustige Witwe" and Livia Sabag´s "Butterfly", we have the lituanian Lapelyté opera "Sun and Sea", Gerardo Gandini´s "La Ciudad Ausente" in a new production by Valentina Carrasco (of "La Fura dels Baus") and Glass´s "Einstein on the Beach", likewise in a new production by Martín Bauer...
Thank you for the video!
Grazie!
I’ll be there first week of Feb… Can’t wait!
Fantstic!!! Thank you for sharing ♥

More than a few dubious casting choices.

Wish I was in London to see some of these fabulous operas!
Wonderful season, many performances to look forward to!
It will be a great season!
Love Antonio Pappano
Ziemlich mittelmäßige Sänger in the Royal Opera House.....( vielleicht eine Ausnahme : Asmik Grigorian )
Looks like a great season.
Wow! They're doing every opera ever written!
Une très belle saison ! Bravo !
Magnifique saison en perspective .Heureux Londoniens ! Je vous envie 👍❤️
Excelente programación. Que suerte los que puedan asistir.!
Bravo.
Why is Rusalka's Foreign Princess called "the Duchess"?
WoW 🤩 😮.
Ehre
Oups! Tout le répertoire … ou presque en une saison !
IS THAT ALL???? Covent Garden at its best. Planning to go see Werther next year. Big Venezuelan fan here living in Houston, Texas.
Werther with Kaufmann ?🤢
💖
In the preview of Tannhauser, it shows picture of Gerald Finley.
What is the opera he’s shown in ?
Don Carlo.
A lot of War Horses, mostly; but the productions look beautifully done: wonderful lighting, sets, costumes. singers.
I wish they stopped being so incredibly woke in Amsterdam and put on a season like this! This is what a young opera lover wants to see!!
ROH is a cesspit of wokist filth. Their anti-British anti-white people narrative on their website is the most grotesque thing I've ever read.
What do they do in Amsterdam?
Tosca looks awesome!
Pues, joven amante de la ópera , puedes ver espectáculo, porque las grandes voces ya no están con nosotros. Saludos cordiales
Looking forward to the new season! ruclips.net/video/qRMxJCLKLjo/видео.html
