Bogus Basin/ Morning Star Express (summer)

Morning Star Express was installed by Doppelmayr in 2019 to replace a riblet triple lift, also named Morning Star. In the summer, the lift uses bike carriers every 2 chairs.

The bike setup on Massanutten’s Peak Express is very different: every other chair has bike racks on the back of the chair so that only the front wheel is actually on the rack. The racks hold up to two bikes. I like these bike trays because you can just load the whole bike onto the carrier instead of just the front wheel.

I agree, I like these bike trays more because they really give the lift a difference between winter and summer.
