River Rd. Truck into Building (Shelton, CT) 4/16/24
SHELTON, CT - At approximately 9:40am on April 16, 2024, Shelton Fire, Police, and EMS were dispatched to 85 River Road in the new Daybreak Ridge Condominiums for a truck into the building. First companies on scene found a full size pickup truck had driven straight into the side of one of the condos deep enough to damage 2 of the units. Another garage was also damaged across the parking lot from the final position of the vehicle. The driver appeared to be unharmed. One firefighter was transported to a local hospital after receiving a serious facial injury from one of the garage doors. Cause of the crash is unknown at the time of this article.
