Meadowside Rd. Truck into Building (Milford, CT) 3/25/24
MILFORD, CT - At approximately 12:30pm on March 25, 2024, Milford 1st responders were dispatched to 109 Meadowside Road for a 2 car MVA with reports of a vehicle into a structure. First companies on scene found the 2 car accident with a pickup truck well into the Speedy Mart convenience store. The structure was quickly deemed unsafe and was taped off while waiting for word from the City on the need for further stabilizing or shoring of the building. One person was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital while another refused treatment at the scene. The crash in under investigation.

Thanks Bob! They had every intention of shoring it up and had a complete plan in place. But a last minute call from 'outside the FD' told them to leave it as is for now and just make the area safe around it.
