We performed this work as part of the concert "Homage to Bolivia" at Granadilla Norte's Church in Costa Rica.
Melodía Tradicional Boliviana it's a representative bolivian anonymous tune. It says that this melody was originally performed and composed by an native indigenous violinist that met this occidental instrument during the bolivian baroque era, where spanish and native converged together. This folk tune has been extended along the time nowadays as an traditional and popular song from this imposing country, Bolivia.
The original instrumentation from this arrangement made by the MSc. Erick Castro consists on violins, violas, cellos, double basses, fr. horns, clarinets, oboes, trombones and trumpets.
