This song is so Prophetic and I receive it in Jesus name.
Nothing can compare to the overwhelming joy that i feel when i hear this song. I think of where i was 4yrs ago to where I am now and because of Christ I'm born again and free from the bondage of drugs and alcohol in my life. He has completely transformed me from the inside out. I finally emerging into the life he's had in store for me all along and that is a purpose driven life to fully dedicate my life to sharing the gospel with others through the gifts he has given me. I feel so blessed to be able to have the life i have now. To understand my worth and that is to build his kingdom. No greater joy can be felt than that.

Y'all came to Lee College tonight and played this song and many others. I just wanted to thank you so much, for in worshiping with y'all, the Holy Spirit came and just touched me so powerfully, and it's always so incredible to be in His presence. I couldn't help but tremble and quaver in the presence of God. I prayed that he would bless my voice that I might praise Him with everything in me, and as I sang with everything in me I broke into sobbing in His overwhelming presence and just the gratitude for how good he is and how much He has blessed me. When I have wandered, He has drawn me back in. When I have fled, like Jonah in the Bible did, He chased after me. When I was broken, He held me. When I was full of sorrow, He filled me with His great Joy. I know that I owe him my life, and that everything I do should bring glory to Him. So, I receive His rain. Let it wash over me, cleanse me and breathe life back into me just like the rain brings life to dry land. I receive His love. May I spread it to all corners of the world, and tell the whole world of Him. And I give Him my heart again. It's yours, Father. For all my days.

As I was singing this song I realized it has two meanings. We receive your rain meaning we receive your blessings or we receive the affliction and trespasses but we know and we rest in the fact that you are God in everything and you will be with us .
