    In my high rise somebody is always throwing out a microwave. The last one I stripped was disgusting 💩. I can’t believe someone was using it.❤️🐎🌻✌️

      Lol, I know a guy who use to put his baloney sandwich in the microwave at work without a plate, needless to say it would soak up other food items on the rotatable disc. Sorry, not to gross you out, just not surprised anymore of the things you find.

    Is it better to strip the wire ?

  • @HITMAN934
    @HITMAN934 Год назад

    My scrap yard will only give you $0.60 a pound for any type of copper insulated wire. And bare copper is $3.50 at the moment. So I just strip all power / appliance cords as it better to get $3.50 a pound then 60 cents.

    Can you get money for copper coated aluminum wire

    • @TinManScrapper
      @TinManScrapper  2 месяца назад

      I would imagine yes since there is a category for aluminum wire (1S wire) and copper. I would bring it in and see what price they will give you for it.

    For me over the last 10 years 1 of 2 places in close proximity sked electric and murr, 70% of the time they'll throw out spindles and romex pretty much full and coiled with the package opened of course but almost full,often a couple years out of date and it's like 😮 how do they just toss this out ? Anyway 8,600 from just dinky piles of romex and 0 to 00 gauge cable, and if I'm not mistaken 17k in profit over 10 years not counting all of the other many things I've found,thing is too,I'm close enough I just ride my bike or walk even and fill my back back stuffed full and you wouldn't think but the wight fills up fast and also tons of bx aluminum wire often the really thick 00 gauge equivalent to the power line thickness so I can't complain 100% profit when I treck with non gas operated vehicle even still driving it's like 50 cents total drive if that

    Why don’t you remove the outer coating? Strip all wires.🐎🌻✌️

    • @TinManScrapper
      @TinManScrapper  Год назад

      Some wire not worth it. You actually lose a lot of profit by removing it. I do have an experiment video whereby I do strip 2 lbs of each to show you profit or not. Video called “which wires are worth stripping? I do the experiment so you don’t have to”
