    I think on individual level palmer and ollie watkins have been great this year. Anyone between them. Even salah has good numbers with 18 G and 10 A but them two are better. Odegaard & saka have been good but we arsenal have been good collectively as a team and no player has had a standout season. Saka has been good, odegaard has been good. Rice, Gabriel, White have been good. Damm at a point in season even martinelli was our best player for a couple of weeks. But that is the truth. Its been like that for us. One player dominates one month and another player takes it up next month. No player has kept that level month after month but we have a strong team so when saka's levels went down, odegaard and trossard picked it up. Now havertz is delivering goals every week. But for player of season it is Palmer or watkins for me. Or maybe a defender or defensive midfielder like rice or rodri.

      I agree. Am a Chelsea fan, but think Ollie Watkins deserves it. Has the most goals+assists, very consistent, and look where his team is sitting. And consider his surrounding staff versus the squad at Arsenal and Man City.

      @0LLy796 25 дней назад

      @@DunlopJI would disagree with this take. Ollie Watkins should be in this conversation and it's weird that he doesn't get that recognition. But Cole Palmer has every right to be in this conversation too. I have seen your other arguments in other comments and they are quite asinine. He has that Chelsea team on his back and as far as INDIVIDUAL AWARDS go, his INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE in that team has been more impressive than Haaland at Man city for example. Any half decent player could walk into a man city starting 11 and do very well. It speaks volumes when Haaland's understudy is still one of the more prolific strikers in the league. You could put Jackson in that team and he would have 20 goals in the league. So to downplay Cole Palmer's individual performance in a team that is objectively worse in every metric than the big 4 just because they aren't in the big 4 is a dumb take. Same for Watkins, I don't think Watkins puts up those numbers in a team that is worse on all metrics. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be getting his flowers tho cos it's still a great individual performance

    This team just needs time, Poch needs time. Even with Silva leaving, Chelsea do not need any experience or new players coming in which these pundits are clamouring for. We have James, Chilwell, Colwill and Gallagher developing as our core leadership contingent which can drive the team going forward and instil our values. There is no need for any new, older player(s) coming into the group, having to adjust to the team themselves and try pulling rank when Reece James is already there. James is well-respected and his influence is already felt behind the scenes (a constant figure in the background, spoken highly of by his peers, attends youth games, supports players and staff ala JT) he just needs to lead on the pitch and stay fit. We just need our injured players fit and a stable squad. No new players are required, not even a new striker. Jackson does everything we need in our build-up play, arguably as well as most top-tier strikers, once he adds more goals to his game he'll be devastating. His close control, link-up play and passing range will only get better with time, a very unique skillset and profile similar to Henry (a left winger until he added goals to his game). With Nkunku coming back and Washington available, we're covered in that department. Even in our defensive midfield, Lavia could come into the base or even Ugochukwu if we require height or more strength. Centre back is covered as well, sadly even if Chalobah leaves, we have Fofana coming back into the fold. The 1 billion outlay wasn't just spent for the first eleven, we have multiple positions covered across the squad.
