Marc Anthony is a BEAST of a singer. So much power, range, tone, passion and emotion that it's incredible. I'm very glad that you took a moment to appreciate what he does.
It is important to emphasize that he doesn't record that way, he holds these long notes just for show on live presentations.

@Thalia Santana Yo no insultaría a Marc Anthony que ademas es un gran músico, mucho menos si usas nombres como Luis Fonsi Alejandro Sanz o Bubble Bisbal que en cuanto a Voz o tecnica de verdad estan bien cortos. En lo que si coincido es en que Luis Miguel esta en la elite de la historia de la musica latina, alli con Jose Jose, Juan Gabriel, camilo Sesto, Rocio Durcal, etc.

Marck Anthony es mejor cantante lastima que nació en la época en que la salsa ya no era como en la época de Héctor Lavoe en que estaba en la cima además que era mucho mejor el género.

I love Marc Anthony. One of my favorite singers. I went to one of his concerts in Charlotte, North Carolina USA 🇺🇸 and he sounded amazing, just like in his records (CD versions) I enjoyed it so much.

Marc is an AMAZING artist. I have been to 6 of his concerts in my lifetime and have never been disappointed (except for wishing he could keep on singing to me all night long Ha!). He is exceptionally talented and gives his audience a great show. No gimmicks, no flashy shows, or exuberant dancer. Just him, his voice, back-up singers and a great Salsa band!

I spent three days with him on his first engagement ever in Chile some ten years ago. Didn't know much about him before but became a huge fan. Very charismatic, huge talent, very nice to those who worked with him and sharp as a whip.

Thank you for doing this one, Beth! As wonderful a singer as Marc Anthony is, it’s possible he’s an even better actor. His performance in the Denzel Washington movie, ‘Man on Fire’ made me an Anthony fan for life! (It’s an excellent movie too, btw.)

The song basically is saying I used to be happy because my mother taught me how to and I lived very well........ until I met you. Marc's video of this song without these long vocal notes and the piano arrangement is really nice. This song made Marc a superstar. The song was written by another singer that made this song famous originally called Juan Gabriel. Marc has one of the best Latin voices ever.
