Quarks are "confined" because of the strong nuclear force, manifested as gluons. However, with sufficient energy, such as in the center of a neutron star, the strong nuclear force can be overcome and quarks can be separated. We also know some properties of quarks from interactions based on the weak nuclear force, such as certain types of radioactive decay. Of course there's a lot more to it than that, but that's a partial, brief explanation directly relating to the passage he read from the first book.
Did I pass this section of the test, Professor P. Crow? The other questions were trivial, but I can provide explanations if it will improve my grade. :)

Wouldn't every game with rolling credits be an auto-scroller then?
I'm pretty sure he was referring to levels in games like, for example, Mario, where the speed of the screen is automatic and therefore it's impossible to save any time during the level (assuming you were actually confused and not joking)

iirc, quarks can be isolated, you just need a lot of energy. my rando trivia fact memory wants to say neutron stars, but that might just be pea-brain automatically going "ooo i like gravitational waves"

I really love all of your content so much. The endless positive energy is probably a large part of it. The other day was my day off and I woke up just wanting some pcrow energy so I watched your entire AoC playthrough and it was nice. Keep doing what you're doing and keep the positive energy strong.
