Thank you for sharing a rug hooking dye video! I love to see these, and I think we could use more! For beginners, don’t forget to tell them to add citric acid or vinegar to set the dye!

I am glad you liked it! Thanks for the reminder. I use vinegar for setting the dye. Beginners should check out my beginning dye video: ruclips.net/video/11FEL2yPFmQ/видео.html

Very interesting how you restored the colors in the fabrics. Good job.

Hi Amy, I don’t know how I missed this video. I’m getting ready to dye some wool I salvaged from old Goodwill skirts. Your colors turned out GREAT! Thank you for the information. You make it look so easy. Can’t wait to try it. Do you have a favorite place for buying your Cushing’s dyes? Thanks again, Sally in Northern California. 😀

You're welcome, Sally. I usually buy my dyes directly from Cushings: wcushing.com/product/perfection-acid-dyes/ There are also several Etsy sellers that you can get the dyes from. Have fun!

Is there anyway to dye a light navy to a darker green colour in a pure wool?

I haven't tried doing that, but if you don't mind experimenting and maybe not getting green, you might try adding a yellow dye. Good luck!
