Hello, Weebunion. I have a perhaps silly question that I've asked before: There has been talk of Zelensky having "favourite" troops he sends to politically (!) important front lines. We have seen that one of these are the AZOV brigade, but there seem to be other troop contingents and officers that are "preferred". 1) Does this manpower consist of more nationalist (Nazi) contingents ? 2) Has anyone tracked these attributes of units (based on their Nazi-insignia and/or postings) and combined that data with the deployment of these units ? 3) Is there any way to verify if the rumours are true ? Thank you very much in advance.
@@ZappyOh Just like with the Great Patriotic War, five to ten years later, authorized scholars and historians are given full access to the military archives in order to build a full picture of the war and use it as research materials for high command officers.
@Weeb Union - you are doing a great work. This is the best channel summarizing Ruso-Nato war and I check my phone a couple of times every morning just to see if your latest video has come. Regards and respect.
Ukraine may be able to drag it out into next year, perhaps even well into the summer, but I suspect after that 'Ukrainian resistance' will have to take on a whole new meaning, since it will no longer be able to entail a front line defence.
Zelensky is living in the realm of wishes, not reality. This autumn will be decisive in determining the further course of the war' is one of the rare sentences that correspond to reality. How harshly he criticized the West for not delivering F-16s. And then when they did arrive, they didn't change the situation on the battlefield. ... But this hasn't stopped Zelensky from presenting his 'victory plan' in the U.S. a plan with a surreal name that is not supported by key powers such as China. According to Bloomberg, the plan is regarded more as wish list in the West. Wishful thinking on the part of the Ukrainian leadership and its Western allies won't achieve a viable solution for peace.
The course of the war has been decided. It was decided when people weighed up the balance of resources, etc. Ukraine will continue to bleed for perhaps even a year more, but probably not even that, as its manpower shortage goes from critical to catastrophic, and they simply have no men or prepared positions to plug the gaps any more.
The first F-16 was lost in a crash about a month ago. Some say it was shot down by a Patriot missile. Was the pilot trying to defect with the plane on his first flight? If that is the case, I don't think we'll see any more F-16s flown by Ukrainian pilots.

I just need to do one remark. All the time you present situation like that - "cutting one road diminishes Ukrainian supplies for sector". That is not correct to say as cutting one road (especially if there are more roads to sector, maybe 8km or so longer) makes flow of goods anyhow automatically less to frontline. Correct is to assume that they send same amount of goods just over another road, only effect what happens is that less there are roads to certain sektor, more easier it is to cover for Russian drones. It may result of more casualties in process of supplying Ukrainian troops on front, but it is not anything like automated process. Furthermore, sometimes you have claimed that all roads are cut and I look to the map bymyself and discover plenty of ways for trucks to go. Dirt roads, solid ground over fields etc. (obviously here now it is important what season is ongoing). But if you read stories about WW2 and see how Russian (Ukrainian) logistic can work, then you can´t say that there is no logistics left for couple of hundred soldiers in operationally encircled units. There are two things to consider. If there are only fields left, but there are not too much encircled troops, both sides can supply on foor over the fields. They are not spoiled americans, who need inflated pools and plastic christmas trees on frontlines :D :D So small amount of soldiers must be encircled fully, to run them out of neccessary supplies. Obviosly, if there is large amount soldiers, like many divisions, encircled... then operational encirclement really start to work. Obviously any kind of encirclement is unpleasant for encircled ones, as I mentiod above there are more chances to get fired on move due to smaller area cover for drones and for artillery fire. But logistics don´t stop or diminish automatically, there will be just rerouting all supplies.
Logistics guy here. Anything that's not a properly paved road will turn to mush if you run a supply line over it for more than a few days. If it's rainy you can cut that down to a few hours. If it's a regular field it will take a just a couple supply runs. The ground is flat, surveillance is constant and speed is low due to the bad terrain so sending trucks that can be spottet early on and are easily taken out on the way is avoided as that wastes drivers, trucks and supplies and all three things are in short supply as it is.
@@apostolosderakis9840 You'd be surprised how much supplies a company goes through in a day... Let's say a soldier needs 3 litres of water and 4000 kcals to survive that gives you already about 4 kg in sustenance, 200 to 300 rounds to keep him shooting in the heavy fighting, that's another 6 kg. So 10 kg per soldier per day of the bare essentials and you already lug a literal ton. Add to that grenades, spare mags, replacement rifles, clothing and gear, medical supplies a well as batteries and fuel and you are closer to two tons.
