This album was hands down their best. The lyrics were so meaningful, the music sticks in your head and you can feel the spirit of Jesus woven into it. Nine Lashes are one of the few Christian Rock bands that has the grit to preach the gospel and speak Jesus name without fear of losing money or listeners because of it. So rare among "Christian" rock bands. Surrender is one of my favorite Christian songs of all time.
This new album is going to be amazing. The songs that have been released have spoken to me because I can relate to them. I've been listening to them for a long time, but i think this is going to be one of their best album yet released.

Although this song is a little soft sounding then from the previous album. I believe it sounds 10x as amazing than before! More meaningful too! Praise God! I hope to see you guys tour this year. Keep up the great work Nine Lashes!
Beautiful song, I had this described to me once by a Ft Benning Chaplain during Basic Training, "It's not enough to say you believe in him (God), but he wants your complete unconditional surrender. 'To say god I'm ready and want to accept your love'" it's so hard to commit but it's worth it
WOW! This is a very powerful song and love the lyrics and how we should just surrender everything that we have to God and how if we surrender to him He can fix our broken hearts and change us:) Excited for the new album next month:)

Ava everyone feels that way sometimes, no matter what age. I felt alone during my teen years as well. I'm 26 now, sometimes I feel the same as you do now. Surrender it to God. Sometimes it seems like He wants to see if we will still trust Him. I've seen it so many times with people all around me. Situations that seemed hopeless turned into joy. Keep praying it will get better.
J Beasley I wish I could but it's not that easy. My dad is a Muslim and my mom is a Christian (cray mix right?) So trying to balance in between those has just kinda destroyed my faith a bit to where I believe in God and everything but I can't really give into him like everyone in my family can. It's like I'm floating through space with nothing to hold on to. I'm fine really it's just this song brought out some repressed feels
+Ava Willams Ava, believing in god is what destroys a person. expecting someone else who doesnt answer to anyone to fix your problems is not the key to a good life. you are supposed to depend on yourself and not some imaginary stuff that no one knows exists you make your own future. Live life like you want and dont care about anything :)
Steel Christopher I know we have a major degree of self reliance and all that and I'm prepared for it but I don't wanna tell my self that there isn't a god simply because you never know when you need to believe in something.
you're saying that your mother is a christian and your father is a muslim..read about both religions and search about them ask your parent about their religions then decide..

Already a huge fan of those bands! Red especially. Skillet's new album wasn't worth the anticipation but still had a few good tracks :)
I thought it was there best with Not Gonna Die, Circus For A Psycho, Fire & Fury and some others.
