Omg, I’m loving the frenzy spells. I’m a sucker for Frenzy since it’s so cool. I just wish it would trigger on NPC enemies and bosses and not just be a PVP exclusive thing.
I kinda feel like some of the higher levep spells are a bit too visually loud. So many of them fill up the whole screen with bright light and make it very difficult to see. It's a shame because they all look super cool but it's a nightmare for anyone with sensitive eyes.

his mod is honestly more creative and feel more like something that belongs in the game. the convverngece team seemingly doesnt understand feature creep, bloating numbers or the idea of making spell categories more unique and try to avoid just making clone spells except on a diferent element, like how they made a bunch of ''magic missile'' clones just for other schools. there are good ideas in the convergence mod, i think more on the weapons side, but spells just like in dark souls they dont feel right at all.

You see for me as a mage it’s not even the overpoweredness of a spell that interests me, it’s the variety. Even if two spells do the same thing I still want the choice for role play reasons, fashion, style etc. magic variety in games is king!
honestly, too many "bolt" type spells in all schools - I think it's fine if players mix and match, no need to have a quick bolt in every type of school also, some of the spells that fill up the screen or deal tremendous damage are fun, but not too sure how long until they get kinda boring. but awesome job in any case
I think that the bolt spells are just for preference and RP. If you're running a build around black flame, you would preferably use BF bolt rather then poison bolt, even if there's no difference between them one fits the character better and gives a more fulfilling experience overall.

Fuck, I need this now more than ever. The Ancestor spells are perfect for my new Tarnished, themed after the Druids. Thing is, the spirit worshippers are the closest we get to druids in this game about giant magic trees, so he's mainly ancestor-themed. At least it matches with Torrent since he's also a spirit That, and any spells that give you animal parts like the Crucible or Dragon incantations. Kinda surprised this mod didn't give more of those kinda shapeshifter spells
Haven't played a ton of the Elden Ring Convergence mod yet. But so far I'm a bit disappointed compared to the DS3 Convergence mod. Don't quite know what it is, but it feels different.

I feel like clay men sorceries shouldn’t be clumped with the dragon kin sorceries, they both have different origins lore wise and are only similar in terms of where you’d find them (underground). The clay men sorceries should have their own identity and category
It's a bit of a weird choice, but given the fact that there are only two Claymen sorceries, it'd be hard to turn it into an entire new class. Something I do find even odder is how the mod ties Deathblight to the God Of Rot because they spread rot, which is weird as Rot is about rebirth/mutation, whereas Deathblight has more to do with the Rune Of Death.
So from what I can tell, Rot seems to be one of if not the weakest class. As not much new is added, and it's pretty much just doing a Poison and Rot build in Vanilla, but now with a couple extra steps. Kind of a shame. Would love something that affected gameplay. Like Rotting or Poisoning an enemy, gives you the player a bonus. Maybe increasing damage, giving you a massive HP pool at the cost of always being incumbered or something, but you are a walking contagion field. Not sure if it's the most OP, but Bloodflame is definitely up there. It at least has the easiest time getting started. Edit: Forgot to add. Necromancy seems like it might have the most unique new gameplay. Purely from the Sacrifice spell. I wish we could get a class more dedicated to this type of gameplay. Using your summons and random mobs as a sacrifice to boost your damage output. I like to imagine an explosion spell that scales with your amount of sacrifices made that life. Going from something like the standard Fireball into a full blown Nuke. Imagine something like the Apocalypse spell from DS3 Convergence. Maybe a bit more buffed up, but more dependent on a sacrifice system. Like summons give a big boost when sacrificed, while most regular enemies just give the standard uptick. I can think a class centered around being one with the elements. So your spell damage isn't just Fire or Lightning. It changes depending on the enemy at the time.
i liked gravity magic even tho kinda strong, necromancy have one verry nice spell, and black flame felt the best. Bloodfire and thorns, felt like: "why even bother? just add kill button", and lingering effects of night magic felt too strong imo.

I just watched prods playthrough and u were missing the lighting nuke from placidusaxs fight in ur showcase also some of those spells have 2 parts to it like the godskin deicide
...So the Blackflame and skull/ghostflame spells do holy damage now? Blackflame may still be kinda viable, the health drain effect is pretty powerful, but rancor spells were already weak compared to their investment unless you're on NG+. Making them the weakest damage type against mid-lategame enemies is just kicking them while they're down.
for rennas barrier: it apllies kinda ok freezing build up but more importantly is the stagger + the spell/skill repel it actively does .... it makes some bosses truelie a cakewalk

Started playing this mod as a storm sorcerer and thought wow these spells do zero damage and now I’ve realized I apparently picked the wrong class
You can do a huge poise damage with this class 😉
Some spells also got reworked. A.e. Elden Stars, which now is a screen nuke :D

This done by randomizer..but convergence didn't work with it you can spawn many enemies in the og game

It scales from faith and int and it is optimal for necromancer build ( Death Spells )

Reduce ur graphic settings and disable ray tracing in the game while playing convergence mod and everything will be ok

I notice your Seal has an Ash of War equipped, what mod allows this? I found one on the Nexus called "Unlocked Staves and Seals" but I can't find any videos on it or anything like it.

I believe advanced seals in this mod have unique ashes of war to them you can't change.
To my knowledge you can add AoWs to seals, and most of the staffs
