Sadist has created another amazing Dream SMP animation. She also once again used music by 2WEI . The animation for Final Waltz was absolutely incredible and the fighting was very cool! So as I promised on stream, here is my reaction to Sadist's latest Dream SMP animation, Final Waltz. MAKE SURE TO GO LIKE HER VIDEO!

Not gonna hold you I like this one but dawn of the 16th better especially technos parts like when they jumped out the side of the tower
god, sad-ist is just one of the most talented animators. being able to make an animation this complex, with detailed backgrounds is very impressive. not to mention, it gives motivation to young artists/animators aswell. i just love it.

Sad-ist actually added little totems in Dream's eyes as his pupils when he was telling Tommy that he could resurrect people so it looks like you did make it into the animatic!!!

I like how well Sad-Ist can put us through a roller coaster of emotions, and then at the end of everything, the sadness and emotionality I felt during the animation gets destroyed with that nice little happy scene on the bench. Sad-Ist is very talented.

I love the particle effects when Tubbo gets slammed into the wall. She gives all of the fight scenes so much weight, it actually looks like someone being thrown. The physics are great too.

To think that SAD-ist started out with just animating on her phone/tablet (I can't remember which of the ones it was XD) it's so amazing to see how far she's come

Ok, hear me out:
The discs belong to Dream. Yes, they were Tommy's, but remember that 1v1 duel for the independence of L'manburg that they had? Tommy lost, but GAVE Dream his discs instead, and lmanburg was independant. Since then, all Tommy's been trying to do is steal them back, and now he has them. Think about it, when you give someone something as a gift (or in this case, a trade), that thing doesn't belong to you anymore, is belongs to the new owner. Same with the discs.

when mellohi starts to play, theres a single frame where the screen flips and it syas dream's SMP instead of dream SMP. The second canon life was when tommy stepped on the mask
They made look kinda hard to beat both of them but in the reality it was so easy for him to take down both of them.

You actually react and commentate and I love it!
Also, you mention the fluidity of the fishing pole whip and if I remember correctly, it was Dream who who was whipped by Technoblade. I think it's neat that there's a bit of Techno still influencing Tommy and perhaps Techno taught Tommy more about how to fight with a fishing pole because it's 1.8 fighting techniques whereas Dream is more versed in 1.16 fighting techniques.

3:53 Foolish saying this got me thinking on a possible headcannon/theory...
What if Tommy slicing the mask off of Dream’s face WAS supposed to represent dream losing a life. And then his next one was last when Tommy crushed the mask under his foot? That’s why he started to grow desperate and begging Tommy to stop. He lost his confidence the minute his protection was crushed yk.
