How to clean a MAF Sensor, Mass Air flow Sensor cleaning can increase fuel economy, stop hesitation and stalling, and shut off your check engine light. This is a really simple procedure.
A mass airflow sensor gets dirty because of oiled filters such as a cotton air filter, air filters that are not replaced often enough, and dusty roads (salt, sand, pollen, etc).
Symptoms of a dirty MAF sensor are hesitation, poor idle, bad fuel economy, and stalling.

Hey I have opel astra g Caravan 2000 and my problem was my car started up and then like in 10 sec stalled but after I tried to hold the ingnition key for bit long it sturggled to ignite but started up. Could It be like fuel pump has gone faulty or MAF gone bad cause when I listen closely I hear hising sound like you know like if some small object got rim and when you pull out it makes like sound of that

Hi, yes it can, try to disconnect the electric connector, then start the engine and drive it, if there isn't any difference then the maf sensor is good.
