I love the tabs on the back. I have done that bag before. I always put my tabs on the side like Leanne does it. I'll try it your way. Thanks for the tutorial.
I love your color choices in fabrics!! I often change my already homemade patterns to more suit what I need or simply want. That's the fun part of sewing to me lol. Our minds work similar lol. I have a sewing cabinet with large business manilla envelopes full of my poster board and freezer wrap paper patterns lol.
Lol You should see my cabinet! LOL. I have some manila envelops too, but there are some pattern pieces that are larger, so I make larger pouches (flat) using clear vinyl and I can fit them all in there and I can see which pattern is inside the flat pouch. I also make WIP pouches to put the fabric, etc when I'm in the middle of making a bag :)
Does the bag tilt if the connectors are on one side of the bag only? As for the enlarging the pattern 25% it prints on 2 sheets you have to cut them out and join the half pieces with some tape. I printed it landscape
@@AllieSewCrafty I am making this bag for my cousin since she took time off of work in June to take me to the hospital for eye surgery, I wanted to thank her with this gift, but I think she wants a cross bag so I am looking at different tutorials on which would be the best way to sew in the connectors, one placed them in the seam of the zipper I think before the zipper tabs one on each side but it looked lopsided when she held it up. I think your way is better just was curious if it tilted. Thank you for sharing your idea.
@@arrivagabry Oh definitely! It's so nice to have good family members and I'm sure she's going to love your bag. Yes, the reason why I did it with the d-rings on the back like that is so that it can stay in place when being used and it falls flat on the body nicely.
@@AllieSewCrafty I was thinking instead of sewing on zipper tabs I would use the butler method on both sides makes a bigger opening on the bag. what do you think?

You're very welcome! :)

Is a fantastic and useful pouch.
It really is! :)

The bag doesn't tilt when the connectors are on the sides. It just a matter or look and preference.

@@arrivagabry Yes I don't see why it wouldn't work. Definitely give it a try :)
