Hello, what kind of needle are you using for this project please?

Would the flap method work with vinyl? I see you're using denim which is a little thinner than most vinyl. I want to make the bag from vinyl but I'm worried about TWO piece B's at the top and if it will interfere being so thick. Thank you. thank you. I just printed the AO files and cutting them out. Just cutting the patterns are time consuming- let alone the fabrics (no I don't have a cutting machine).

The bottom line will be what will be best for the kitchen it will be used in. Cabinets are different. Some have handles, some knobs. Not all ovens have handles. Etc. so each one of these five can be functional in different kitchens.

Thank you so much for this video! Great feedback. I tried and it and it ended up a little wonky but that is ok. One thing I did mess around with was needle size and thread size which work awesome for me. I tried a size 10 microtext super nonstick and Gutterman 100% poly thread and my stitch length was a 6. Again, this just for the stay stitch. Everything to finish the bag you can go back to a big needle and tex poly thread. I really never use quilt cotton anymore for bags, so I had to figure out a hack and this seemed to work awesome for me. Just make sure you do a test on a scrape before you do this on your bag. Some vinyl will be more forgiving than others. I am going to try a thin leather and cork as well just because I am curious.

I used this pattern for a few years now and almost once a year I get a request from a friend to make one for them. The most recent was my boss stating she loved the pillow I made for a coworker as a goodbye gift using our work t-shirts. It’s been weeks of her bringing up every other day or so how much she liked it, so I made her one for Christmas. I love how easy it is and looks great with any mix of fabric! My mother even used the one I made her when she had a long hospital stay. Such a great pattern!

#2 seems pointless other than adding some decorative touch. Why would it stay on the bar any more than a normal towel draped over? Sewing a band at the bottom would give the same decorative effect and much easier/faster.

Has anyone tried the compression cubes using cotton? Was it sturdy enough to compress?

Do you just finagle to towels every time or do you have specific measurements on how to make the pleats for them to fit so nicely in here. I’m struggling with that part, and am hoping to make lots of these for my Christmas craft event!

Anything that snaps or is fiddly will end up on the counter or floor. My husband has never seen a drawer or door that needs to be shut or an item that needs to be put away/back in place. I like the first one, but the second one has a chance of being put back on the handle. Thank you for the tutorial. I’m saving this video.
