Does all this apply the same to a horizontal opening lid?

Thank you this was very helpful. Is there a calculation if you do not want a 90 degree open? Also the door that i'm opening is a 20kg lid for a large storage chest, does that change the strut pressure Kg at all?

Hi Gema & Co, thanks for your comment! There is no specific calculation, but the guide is:
If the opening angle is more than 90° decrease the measurement 'P'
If the opening angle is less than 90° increase the measurement 'P'
The pressure in our struts is adjustable, follow instructions at 2:08 to release the gas pressure and adjust to suit your door.
Hope this clears up your questions :)

Hi Suprema, yes that's correct, take the nearest value - for your case it would be 6468 (432mm extended length).
