"...we're picking up the pieces on the ricochet.." Unsurpassable lyrics and music! This was a very Marillion!
Steve Rothery is so underrated. He’s a Guitar God.
+100%!!!
My favorite Marillion song.
Just like mine
this song is timeless
Still gives me shivers every time I hear it. Brilliant performance!
"We reached ignition point from the spark of pleasantries." One of my all-time favourite lyrics.
The lyrics Derek wrote back then were Shakespearean poetry. He was one of a kind! And he continued in his solo career to write the most amazing lyrics ever written-imo 🤷🏻♂️
💯Steve Rothery Rules! 👑🎸💥🔥🤘
Still listening to numbers from Marillions 2 first albums on weekly basis, they are so great ❤
Brilliant Marillion, brilliant Fish... With their music, I'm in an another dimension. Poetry, soul, deep emotions💯💯💯💯💕💕💕💕
This is absolutely marvelous
Amazing performance not often Jigsaw is captured live on film this is marillion at its finest.
Oh my effing God, how amazingly good they were 😵💫 And how…HOW…did all those few years pass so quickly 😐
Looks and sounds fantastic. Great work.
Marillon friends of my time that was! In my heart!!
This video and audio quality is amazing! I would have loved to see them live together with Fish. This is simply stunning❤.
More than magic - this makes me always out of words. A masterpiece by #Marillion and #Fish. it's again such a great remaster work by Bruno Samppa - magic too. Thank you so much. Hope we can see thie work on the entire concert recording.
Ah, the Holy Grail. As far as I know, this is the only visual footage of Jigsaw live (and IMO Rothery's best solo) from around 1984. Steve looks so young (about 25), lithe, super-cool, and an old head on young shoulders. This should be the definitive footage of him from that era, if only for the massive fuck-up of Fish coming in a bar early. And Steve is partly to blame by playing his solo the wrong way round, as it were. For fuck's sake man. Ah well, we're blessed to have this just as it is.
Great Job Bruno!🎶👏👏👏
Great song and sound quality Thanks
Beautiful song... Pete is the master and holds it all together. Makes it easy to see why they are so well respected in the music community. Thanks for posting this!
Master piece
so happy to watching this video of Marillion at their best
Stand straight!!!!
please full concert!!
Thank you so much for posting this!
This is the maximum
Pretty sure Fish comes back in for the last verse several bars too early. Love the way the rest of the band just goes with it though. Only spotted it cos I must have listened to this track several hundred times!
Yes, Fish made this mistake, it's quite obvious, indeed.. too bad, I still love the song.
Indeed, it was made so slightly, complete unnoticed it would be for anyone who doesn't know this masterpiece. But that is the mark, one of attributes of real artists, bunch of artists making one big art really together no matter what. Brilliant
A sign of a proper live band, able to deal with it on the spot.
my love ! fish and marillion !
Phenomenal work.
Qualidade de imagem simplesmente absurda e sensacional. Muito obrigado. Poste mais pra nós, amigo, por gentileza dessa banda que é uma das minhas favoritas. ❤
Awesome !!
the singing is close to studio! love it when a band sticks to the studio version in terms of instruments and sounds. some bands do this better, some not. this performance is really close.
Album mitico
😅wonderful
❤
Do you have this full concert?
Maravilloso!!
A great piece of prog.
Best period with Fish 🙏❤🙏❤
I wasn't aware that Luke Skywalker - in addition to his outstanding lightsaber skills - could also play the guitar so sensitively.
Tem esse show todo?
📀🎸🎼❤
pqq 😍
Fish tu ewidetnie zepsul sprawę bo za szybko wszedł z tekstem gdy Steve grał solówkę której jeszcze nie skończył. No ale profesjonalny zespół się połapał ..i przeciętny słuchacz nie zauważy różnicy.
They took a lot of getting used to...for me...
I can understand that.
Do you have the rest of the concert remastered?
No
Mr Dick's whole look around this time was a sad rip off of Adam Ant.
A balding, 7 foot tall, Adam Ant.
Absolutely not. where did you pick that up ? Adam Ant had a white strip straight across his nose and cheeks from one ear to the other.. .Fish's make-up is completely different....
Too bad Fish-era Marillion blows Adam Ant back to the wild frontier.
