The "GoPro effect" makes everything look easy on your 4" phone screen, but it's a different story when you're behind the handlebars. Those were some slippery and leafy trail conditions. Hats off to you, Mike!
This is more than learning. He's a average joe, he isn't some Super genius or anything. But that is his speciality. He represents the normal population. He represents that anyone out there with the interest to learn could do so much more, could acquire such useful strong skill sets. And so this guy represent the potential of humanity. The unique trait of adaptability. And that is what makes him fucking awesome. His resilience and attitude is also a positive trait to learn from. Thank you for continuing to inspire your viewers 👍🏻.
The Mighty Seaman Yup, that in itself is his biggest strength, the one that actually makes him different for the real average Joes that we are. The fact that he can actually focus on a goal and try to achieve it is the hardest part. Also, it's kind of his job, having a liking for it is a bonus. Most people won't find a motivation to learn to split apples with bare hands, open champagne bottles with a saber and shit like that.
Such quality content. Your way of editing is really catching and atmospheric. The build up to the end result is super well made. Keep doing you Mike ;)
It did export. He made it that way, I think he should've added some text. These type of export problems never happen, either everything gets exported or not.
ATTENTION MIKE!!!!! This is by far the best video you have posted on your channel and I suggest you do a how to whip a mountain bike on this week I learned. Love the channel keep it up!
I recently got into mountain biking recently and since I live in switzerland it's a really good place to do this sort of thing. I'm really happy you did this. Keep doing what you do I find it really inspiring and great !
This is a channel of determination and it’s so true it’s inspired me to never give up on stuff and all the time u spend on doing it is worth it from after u complete it
Thank you mike !! since may 2017 ive also started to learn some new things now i can solve rubiks cube, play guitar (still practising tho) and ive even learned some card tricks all this because you motivated me to learn something new Thank you!

13:08 so inspirational, i want that in my life... To want something so bad, and the high when you actually succeed! Thank you Mike, I hope you realize how much you inspire your fans and how much some of these videos mean to us :)
I think the whole point of this channel is to show that you don't need talent, as long as you put hard work in. Mike's talent is that he's stubborn and willing to work hard to achieve every goal he sets himself.
as a mountainbike coach is this making me happy! you set out with a fairly sloppy run, you got the coaching and learned how to tackle this type of terrain and you smashed your time by over 23 seconds, which over the corse of a first 2.20 minute run is this a huge improvement!
Not only is animation very hard and takes a long time, you also can't really set a goal for learning. "Animate (blank)" is too general and you can't really objectively rate the result.
It would be awesome to see you combine this challenge with your unicycle challenge. Mountain Unicycling is a ton of fun! It's the same thing as the mountain bike just minus the brakes, suspension, gears, and a wheel (some "Muni's" as they're called, come with brakes and/ or gears; you can get handlebars too, but a pure unicycle is cheaper and more challenging). A good milestone might be to complete this trail without falling off. I hope to see you give it a shot sometime!
Man I really want to learn to ride! Being with nature and on a bike is liberating! You breath in the fresh air, enjoy the calm of nature and enjoy the thrill of the complexity of the track.
