    Hi Ryan, what are you using to dispense the super glue without it going off and not screwing a lid back on every time!? This is saving so much time!

      if you pour a little bit out onto aluminium foil it will last a while I also bought a heavy dental amalgum well which is like a little metal pot but mostly these days I use superglue with a brush in the bottle

      @@RyanHoustonflytying Thanks for the reply Ryan. Do you not find it a pain having to screw the lid on all the time? I find zap a gap best but still a pain.
      Just found your vids today and had a plenty of time to watch a load! Hope all is well at this crazy time!

    Awesome video..got a general question about flies on plastic tubes.. What you do to get them down the pool? Mine are floating badly. Flurocarbon leaders help a bit and sink tips are not legal in most of our salmon rivers. Thanks

      THATS A DIFFICULT ONE I WOULD HAVE SAID SINKING LINES OR POLYLEADERS WOULD YOU BE ALLOWED A SWIVEL SOMEWHERE IN THE LEADER? MIGHT SINK IT A BIT IF ITS NOT CLASSED AS A WEIGHT

    • @RyanHoustonflytying
      @RyanHoustonflytying  7 лет назад

      some places are not allowed any sort of weighted flies prety sure some Canadian rivers have this rule single hooks ony too and also not allowed sinking lines i think they are afraid people will snatch salmon would make fishing very difficult

    A whip finish? Looks more like three half hitches to me. But nicely tied and a great looking pattern.

      i have never been able to use a whip finish tool if there is no superglue involved i will perform more whips with my hands but if you do that when glue is involved it will weld the whips and prevent you from pulling the loop through
