100% agree it is the owners responsibility to look after her elderly cat. I do agree it is also defendant's responsibility to watch his cat but as a animal owner if you put your animal outside unattended cat lady r dog then you are sadly risking your animal. I have a 13 yr old labrador, fenced in yard, but she's never outside unattended. I don't mean you have to be the pets shadow but you should remain aware of what's going on while your animal is outside. I wish that having a enclosed area would mean that your pet is safe but sadly their are ALOT of irresponsible pet owners. I also believe that sometimes cat owners may treat a cat outside a little different than a dog. I have a neighbor who puts her kitties outside but puts a long leash and collar on them and they play outside while shes in her yard. I completely understand feeling like if your pet is in your enclosed yard they should be safe but their r IRRESPONSIBLE owners. Some cat owners just allow their cats to free reign the neighborhood and its easier for a cat to get into a enclosed area than a dog.

If a cat could talk they'd tell you they need nature, they need to roam, they need to hunt, they need socialization with other cats. Cats come in my yard all the time and most of the time my cat stays in my yard but cats do what cats do. She is responsible for her cat! I'm surprise by the ruling in general but I thinking the defendant did have a great argument. If the plaintiff cared about her cat, she would have also changed her routine no matter how annoying it would be. Both are responsible to not let this happen again. If it was true that the defendant offered his phone number to resolve this, that was a good plan. However, I can also see how ridiculous it might be to have to call ur neighbor 2 times a day. Then they should just agree that between certain times, they will let their cat out to avoid the other. It's not that hard. It is just something we deal with living in society...

Completely agree, if I had a cat that was being bullied and my neighbor asked to call him the 2 times a day I put my cat out I would do it. I know it may be annoying but honestly it would just be easier to do the call just to make sure my pet was safe. A cat is totally different than a dog, cats can jump fences and other enclosed areas easier than a dog. I would just do it to make sure my kitty was safe because that is easier than worrying about her/him being hurt. Just my opinion, cats will be cats and we r the 1's who need to be responsible and have ability to reason out things ALOT better than a animal. I know a cat can get over my fence so to be safe I'm going to be outside, especially if it's 4 a short time, while my kitty is having outside time.

Wow. I'd be so annoyed. No way I have to stand outside and babysit my cat but you get to relax inside while your cat runs around attacking other people's cats. And the gag is you know it happening!!

At first I was on her side a little bit, but at the end she's kinda unreasonable, the same way she doesn't want to coordinate the times, is the same way he shouldn't have to change his schedule to accommodate her schedule. My dog has certain times, but we also do random times too. I shouldn't have to be beholden to someone else's life schedule. Ridiculous. He paid the beotch. She needs to build him a cat tunnel and end this . She's kinda acting a little entitled. As if the laws don't have anything to do with her.

You’re only against her cause the judge was. That’s why you changed your mind. Stop lying

Coming from someone who is hard of hearing, I too block my one ear when I’m not wanting to hear something… In this situation, it is disrespectful. You filed the case… have respect to hear what she had to say since you’re taking her time. Lol taking out your earbud 😂
