- Ace was hit by a car, and a woman (who I don't know) called Roxana emailed me about him. I went to get him right away, but when he saw me, he got scared and ran to this back yard where another dog attacked him. The end of the story - on this video

To the person complaining about him giving cheeseburgers....why dont you be abandoned and starved and you think of a healthy thing you would want to eat! This guy is doing an amazing thing here saving lives of these dogs and you aregonna critisize him for giving an "unhealthy"snack to gain their trust its not like they are gonn eat a burger every dy for the rest of their life even if they did its MEAT which dogs need to eat in order to be healthy just ask my 2 they will tell ya

..and it’s all about the smell... dogs have a highly developed sense of smell & a nice meaty cheeseburger is tempting to a hungry dog.
If I had been lost for months or years and I was finally rescued - being human mind you - I would want the thing that I missed the most and that would be a Burger King Whopper with Cheese, they are so good!! The burger being cooked, warm and tasty is what is needed to gain the trust of these animals who have been abandoned for months at the least, years at the most, living on what ever they could find or was given to them. Any meat would do, but cooked meat is better for them and will gain there trust and attention quicker, also kind words, friendly slow voice and not being taller then they are also good as you can see.
Many dogs hate dry dog food. They will not follow the rescuers.

I can tell just by watching you interact with these frightened, lost and lonely animals how much you really care for them. The transformation of a dog wanting to bite to one that closes its eyes as you pet them is amazing...

So sad. This lovely, sweet dog being attacked by other dogs after being injured by a car. I hope he recovers fully and finds a loving, safe forever home. He certainly deserves it.

How can be "humans" so cruel and heartless when they see a face like his? He's a beautiful boy and his eyes show that he is calm and very friendly. Those eyes show love and trust but this inhumane creatures destroy everything they could. Luckily this sweet buddy got rescued and I hope he found a loving home now. Thank you again and again for your wonderful work and that you restore the lost in humanity a little bit with every rescue 💖💖💖💖💖
It's so heartbreaking to see how sad and miserable they are before they get rescued. But after the struggle is over the end result of seeing them so happy and full of love and hope is so worth it. 💕

Look if I were abused every day of my life & thrown into a pit with other dogs to bite me all over because they taped my mouth shut, I'd want to bite someone too. Pitbulls are not the heartless biting dogs. But they don't get a good life.

Poor sweet baby boy. When you were finally able to leash him, and trying to pet him, you can just see the look of just wanting to give up on the horrible life he's be enduring, just the look of not caring whether he died or not. Most, u see the fear in their eyes, they don't kno who u are, what ur gonna do, always can see that fear in most of them..but the look of "I don't care what ur gonna do..even if u are here to kill me.." That look is what made me start bawling. NO Dog, or animal in general, should have that look in their eyes, everrrrr!! God bless him, you, the entire organization and everyone involved for what u do!! You're true heroes, and definitely ANGELS, to these animals !🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️

This man is the most patient and most knowledgeable rescuer I watch. He does such a great job under the most horrific circumstances. All for abused animals. All I can say is thank you. I wish I had known about animal rescues when I was younger.
I love the way Eldad and his "sidekicks" befriend and ultimately rescue these animals. There's so much compassion, and, well, love given to every rescued animal, be they dog, cat. Or whatever. So many of them would have ended up in that "nasty, brutish, & short" life. Instead, they will be in forever homes, with love and care. God bless you, Eldad, and all your helpers. I wish that I could make donations, but my hub & I not only are living on a fixed income, but we are also presently supporting one of our kids while in college. Sigh.

i can really see in his eyes that he's really hurt, and can't be able to escape from him. most of the dogs would protect themselfs and be aggressive when someone come near. But this dog was too nice, it look so lovely and adorable. i dont understand why anyone could leave him. i feel really sad for what happened to him. i just wanna give him a big hug. im so glad that there's nice people out there that helping homeless dogs. thank god

Oh goodness such a beautiful dog, I’m glad Eldad was there to rescue him And get him to the vet so he can be checked and the care he needed. People that do dog rescues and cat rescues are superheroes

I'm so glad he was rescued. He must have been terrified, unable to trust. But he gave hoomans a chance and was truly rescued,. He's the right kind of pit bull, very loving and gentle. A doggy's face should never look that care worn.
Any dog can be caring I have a friend that has a dog that was abused and will bark and snarl and Antony or even bite but my friends mom she is like s little baby so cute and always trusts her. If dogs trust you they can cafe as well

Even though on the videos it seems like he is with the animals for minute he is actually spending hours at a time gaining there trust and he is very cautious when first petting the dog. So he will know if the dog is viscous or not when he first pets the dog

I luv beth Ah, I don't want to freak you out but do not show that you are scared because that's one of the worst things you can possibly be. Try not to show that you're scared and defientley don't act aggressive and the animals will trust you easier
+I luv beth Saying you're going to be an animal rescuer but are afraid of being bitten is like saying you're going to be a surgeon but can't stand the sight of blood! LOL! Perhaps you could consider helping the rescue in some other fashion, like providing transportation or food or helping with vet costs, etc. Not everyone is expected to perform the actual rescue, and, if you're concerned about being bitten, there are many other ways you can be just as helpful! Good luck!
+I luv beth I'd suggest asking other animal rescuers for some tips on how to handle your fear, I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, of them also felt the same fear, they just know how to handle it and channel it in a better way. :)
Also, get some training from those animal rescuers as well about what to do/not to do when dealing with animals with various states of health/stress/trauma. Some of those fear you felt might be because you don't know when an animal is about to attack you to defend themselves, I think when you know what to watch out for your fear will lessen a lot.
Anyway, good luck on becoming an animal rescuer! Wish you all the best. :)
