You've inspired me to do this to my extra mower. I never thought of this until your video. Ive lowered several of trucks b4 but never thought of this. Awesome
This is bad ass bro. Im working on a 1988 murray 11 hp myself trying to slam it and make a neighborhood racer by adding a mac minarelli 6 speed alcohol enduro kart motor. This video helped me alot on lowering it.
Some mowers lend themselves better, than others, to lowering. I'm referring to looks/style. The way this mowers looks, it was perfect for slamming. It looks GOOD! If I had to choose between a mower that would be difficult to slam but looked good OR a mower that was simple to lower but was homely, I'd glady do WAY MORE work to end up with a better looking end result.
Plus you don't have to worry about the offset with the different pulley levels. Just have to figure on the shifter linkage which is easier jackshaft or spindle thingy. It works dude.

Totally agree. But it's not my machine neither is it my usual niche lol I've got to wait on delivery and also he wants me to custom paint it. I appreciate all the patience from you guys who are waiting
Been working on it little at a time in between other projects. Deck removed, painted whole thing flat black. Just got to paint rims red and paint the tires a white wall. And I'm rebuilding the engine.
There's a second video that gets the details on the make and model etc. Should show up as suggested video at the end. And probably market place, kijiji, or ebay maybe

That is so cool, don't care for the music volume (too loud). Where did you ever find a front grill like that. It really makes the tractor stand out!
Noted for the volume. Not sure about the grill, came with the tractor. It'll be in my shop soon

Thats a good idea.. I'd like to make the front wider also. I might do it straight axle style like those old gasser race cars

You can flip the transaxle over and you don't have to cut the frame out that much.
Plus u don't have to make the offset with the pulleys being at different levels

So 99% of mini trucks are already from the factory axle above spring. Only the 4x4s had the axle under the spring.... 😄
