For some time now, Dr. K. Alexandra Doernath is zebra Stripes' veterinarian. Stripes lives at Ihlow riding and therapy center. Owner Sarah Klaassen takes care of many horses and this special zebra, which she came to by a happy coincidence.

Dr. Doernath has been a veterinarian for many years and a member of the zoos.media's advisory board for some time. Along the way, she gives us insights into her work. Vaccination against tetanus is an absolute must for every horse - regardless of whether it is a leisure partner, a competition horse, or a youngster. 😂 actually, humans can ride zebras pretty well and also zebras enjoy that work as long as they are not forced but are treated with love and respect 😊 they even draw carriages if they are trained for that 👍
