I don't think Aaron Paul gets enough credit for Breaking Bad. Personally he is the my favourite character on the show, his acting is phenomenal but only 1 Golden Globe nomination.. shame
Aaron Paul won the Emmy four times for his acting in Breaking bad in 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2010, that's a lot of credit.

Jesse pinkman in my opinion was the most normal person in the show. Everything that happened to him he regrets. He not only lives as a recovering addict but as a murderer.
Gotta love that Aunt May scene from Spiderman. The way she talks...the look...she is telling Peter without saying it: "I know it's you. You have to be the Hero everyone needs you to be."
Love that scene with Taraji P. Henson & Kevin Costner in Hidden Figures. POWERFUL! She totally owned the required frustration/anger in restraint (with class and style)… over the ridiculous Jim Crow laws still being implemented by our federal agencies at the time. BRAVO! 🙌🏾💕🇺🇸
Yeah except it's fake. The ladies are real but the Costner character was made up. The part about the ladies bathroom was not how it went down at all.

I like him also in the Scent of women at the end. Al Pacino is outstanding, but also the other actors I have seen in this series are among the greatest of all times.

The last monologue is the best ever! Still unmatched to this day. Al Pacino’s superb performance here got him finally the Oscar he rightly deserves. The length the substance the intensity you will be glued up until the end. The script and dialogues are fantastic on point no pretentious all out!! Truly the best monologue ever and will unlikely be unmatched in a lifetime. Truly saving the best for last! They should play this clip on schools to awaken and bring integrity back to everyone
This is the OPPOSITE of what they preach at schools. Everything is about anti bullying (not a bad thing, obviously) but the flip side of this is that it's ALL about snitching (tell a teacher, tell a parent, tell if you experience it, tell if you witness it) - exactly what this speech is arguing against. It's a fine line and for many people - especially children - it's difficult to know when it's "right" to tell, do something yourself or just leave it alone. Do you call the police if you see your neighbor (a friend) using illegal herbicides or pesticides on his garden? Do you you talk to him about it yourself? Do you even care or ask to borrow it? What if he's beating his kids? If you see someone breaking into the house across the street, do you call the police? Do you yell across the road that you're armed and they'd better push off? Or do you just check the locks and go back to bed since you don't like that neighbor - or maybe the person breaking in is a friend of yours? Unfortunately, there's rarely black and white in this world - just endless shades of gray.

I miss knowing that Robin Williams walks this Earth. What’s That? Robins coming out in a new movie, Fantastic, can’t wait to see it! What’s that Robin showed up dressed as Christopher Reeves Proctologists just to make his friend smile. This man supported forty or fifty different charities. I don’t know what demons he was fighting, I wasn’t fortunate enough to ever have met him, but, I miss him, the world, My World is less without him in it.😓

I met him once. Which is to say I shook his hand and wished him a Merry Christmas, and he forgot me 3 seconds later, as I was one of maybe 500 people he shook hands with that day. It was my first deployment, and he was there on a USO tour that he had put together. Just one of the 40 or 50 charities he supported.

Words are important, yes. But who says those words, who interprets them? Words unspoken are only halfway there. I mean, who would have thought that Mel Gibson could do Hamlet, considered by many to be the most difficult role in theater? And how does he compare with Laurence Olivier, Kenneth Branaugh, and others?
Yeah, that William Shakespeare doesn't get the credit he deserves.

I’m surprised that there hasn’t been anything from Brando. Or De Niro (I think that De Niro is better than Pacino, personally.). Or even James Woods (Once Upon A Time In America.).

God Jesse is such a tragic character. It’s so heartbreaking that he can only see the bad. That he can never even think about becoming better and doing better things because of the things he’s done.
Breaking Bad is filled with similar examples of Aaron Paul’s extraordinary dramatic ability.
Will Smith often underrated as an actor but with the monologue here shows otherwise ... from the episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air listed in Part 1 of these Monologues in which shows even at a young age his ability to bring forth his abilities.

i watched all 3 parts of this, and it was excellent. However it omitted one of the greatest monologues of all time. That being Robert Shaw"s speech about the USS Indianapolis in the movie Jaws.

These omitted several monologues that are equal, or better! What pops to mind is the “contender” scene from On the Waterfront. Or the history of Elwood P. Dowd meeting “Harvey” for the first time. The magical blend of actor and screenplay can be powerful and memorable. Hell, give me a “Mr. Tibbs” moment from Sydney Poitier, and we’ve got a conversation!

A great & articulate monologue feels like the most purest form of acting & showcasing extremely talented people. Thank you for letting me relive these fine performances.
Will smith has been snubbed so many times in his career. He is an absolute monster of an actor and hope the people watching this see what I have seen.

Al Pacino was shown twice here, and there's a damn good reason for it!
He’s an average actor who had about three good movies I’ve seen normally all of them and he puts in average performances in fact in any given Sunday he was terrible apart from that speech

My very favourite monologue, ever! Rocky Balboa and his "Life aint all sunshine and rainbows". There has NEVER been a truer word spoken!!!!
I always tear up when Frank makes a case for Charlie. He is not only saving this boy's future, but realising as he speaks how clearly his own future is stretching out before him, and how Charlie was so instrumental in showing him that life for Frank is worth living after all. In saving Charlie, he's repaying him for his gift, and they are no longer an unequal partnership.

Will Smith is an incredibly talented yet extremely underrated actor. He has an incredible stage presence in every film he’s been in. From comedy to drama or action he’s completely at home in front of the camera. He brings so much confidence to his acting roles.

He is one of the highest paid actors on earth. hes not underrated at all.

No.1 monologue ever (scent of a woman). I watched this movie when I was a kid and from that time it has been unforgettable ever since. So much so I skipped through great performances to get to see this. I still get goosebumps when I watch it!
Personal note: Defending someone with passion to succeed whether race, religion, gender, any individual, any country, and esp defending what is RIGHT is the true love & respect for all of human race! And those who have defended all those who need it will always have a special place in History! Amen!

Scent of a Woman is so underrated. Al Pacino can carry a scene like very few other actors. He's got so much presence and wow that volume in his voice.
All of these were amazing but Robin William’s really stands out. He was such an amazing actor. He could play any role

The drama builds up for two hours just to get to this 20 minute scene.

Robin Williams was a great comedian but also an outstanding actor. You are sadly missed Mr Williams.
Thank you for all of these! They are great. My two cents: I think adding your own music takes away from some of these. They all stand on their own-this goes without saying. But it is also my belief that they all stand BEST when seen and experienced in their natural, original format. Especially when you used the same track a few times in a row. I would be curious to know why you thought that adding and recycling generic emotional music to some of the best monologues of all time was necessary. Thanks again for all you do.
Agreed, cheapens the scenes, makes the compilation feel silly. Immersion is lost in my opinion, but I'm sure there are enough easy people out there that don't care, so who am I to say what works

Maybe one little Thing for ne next part... what if you put the Filmtitle, the Actor who is playing and the Year it got released on the Bottom Corner.
I mean you got it in the Infobox (sadly not in the right order) but its way easier & more quickly for the Viewer to find the Movies.

yes. the producer, director, audio all decide on the sound and adding your own bg music takes away from the scene.
I agree. The worst part is that the same generic "sad music" was added at to at least 3 different monologues here and for zero reason. They change the original scenes and add nothing.

All of these show how amazing each of these actors are. They stand out in their field. I looked a good way through the comments and did not see even one for Mel Gibson. I think that this is one of the best portrayals of this role. I also seen that some people suggested a scene monologue that they think is worthy so I will do so too. Matthew McConaughey's closing in A Time to Kill.
Still missing Kenneth Brannagh in Henry V, the Band of Brothers speech, one of the best.

Mel Gibson does not get enough credit for his take on Hamlet, which is my favorite rendition of the character. Hamlet is often characterized as a deeply indecisive overthinker with some instability. Mel Gibson’s Hamlet was unhinged and terrifying, the kind of person you would be laughing one minute and stabbing you the next. =
To learn that RW add libbed all the dj scenes in Good Morning Vietnam is a testimony to his greatness. Rip Robin. We need/miss you

Keep up the great work man,, I'm loving those videos. If I may, I would suggest you take a look at the Manhunt: Unabomber mini-series, there's a really powerful monologue from one of the victims parents to the Unabomber during his trial.
Plus, it would be really awesome if you could put a tag or label that would show on the screen on the beginning of the speech saying what film it is, I know there's link on the description but sometimes its kinda hard to see or check them out while using the app.

two seconds in to the second monologue I was surprised that both these seperate productions used the same music blew my mind, only to realise that it was added afterwards. Keep the original please.

The "drama" music takes out the impact out of the speeches. If folks really need that cushion, then they ain't ready for the speeches.

I love the reference to monologues not cited and yes Robert Shaw's monologue makes the hairs on my arms stand up, Jack Nicholson's (already shown) from A Few Good Men, Al Pacino's amazing bit from Scent Of A Woman, but no one has said anything of the beautiful monologue by Peter Finch from the movie Network. He died in the movie giving that speech, and died shortly after his performance. He won the Oscar for his performance (posthumously) thats how good he was. There were so many good performances in 12 Angry Men pick em

I know action flicks aren't whay you go to for grade A acting but Sly Stallone's monologues at the end of first blood and first blood 2 are damn good.
