Yeah, I think it must be that one. Actually makes sense that the language and names from the Hells would lead to someone having to pronounce words with four apostrophes.

Larian should create a sentient weapon of sorts ingame, a mentally unstable one, and then just use these outtakes for it XD. imagine a sword talking back "oooh.. big scary level 2 paladin..."

As someone with a background in VO, I can confirm that "I haven't even read one line yet, how has it got weird already" is an extremely accurate descriptor of the booth.

Had a time where I was basically talking to them as a Gravemind-like entity, and I stumbled during one of my sentences and went, in character, "Forgive my f**king stutter"
My all-time favorite was when one of my players dropped out of character for a moment, and, well, this was my response:
"Josh, you do not say, 'Speaking of di*ks...' and pull up a video!"

I seriously need an Animatic of Malady DMing for the party of Divinity 2... this is the exact, "tired of everything's bullshit" attitude she'd just radiate as a DM. Wonderfully brilliant as ever. Easily one of the best voice actors out there.

I will appreciate every narrator line in the game so much more now that I know the pain and tears that went into it behind the scenes.

This is what an actual DM would sound like dealing with the average players' -bullshit- shenanigans.
Hearing this was a reality shock to me, because it just made my brain go "Wait, she's not just a magic disembodied voice? She's a real human?". Also (since you asked at 2:10 ), roll a Performance check to see how well you narrate this game...Nat 20! Thanks for being our DM and helping bring the game to life ❤

It’s a movie where you make the choices for the main character. It starts simple enough choosing what music he should listen to but he soon starts to realizd that he is being controlled and that nothing is real, goes insane, and suddenly you’re in too deep and have to choose whether you want him to bury his father’s body or chop it up to into tiny pieces to hide the murder he just committed 😭😭

The moment they release the modding tools, first thing I'll try to make is replace the level up sound from one to two to "aren't you a big scary character...."
Maybe we don't talk to you, but we still love our narrator. I know a guy who played DOS2, he liked Malady very much as character and for voice acting as well. When I told him "The same actress is voicing narrator for BG3" - he was like "Sold! I'm buying it right now!"

When I found out you were Wendu my mind was blown. When I found out you were narrating a game I have been waiting 20 years for my mind was equally blown again. When I finally played the launch version of the game and realized just how much effort, detail and care was put into the game (And your work) I was completely beside myself. You are an incredible talent.

It's been my personal opinion for years now that after the events of the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Malady ran a game of D&D for the Godwoken and Baldur's gate 3 is that game. Loshe who I played as now playing the Dark Urge. Fane is playing Gale. Sebille is playing Shadowheart. Red Prince is steeping out of his comfort zone of being a in charge powerful warrior from an empire that could probably take over the world if it really felt like it and has a strong connection to Red Dragons, and is now is playing Lae'zel. She so different than he is, she's yellow.
Anyways, loved your work, and your outtakes. Thank you for sharing.

The last 30 seconds is just what the average DM really feels. Truly, BG3 is an immersive experience both for the player and the people involved in its creation.
