In my 60s now never been to Download went to every Monsters of Rock. Always remember 1991 when 5 of us started the bottle fight and the crowd split in to 2. They were great days. Sorry I forgot I missed 1988 as I was not a fan of Gun's and Roses so we went to Bochum in Germany as they had Anthrax and Testament
The dude behind you for WSS is my spirit animal. Great vlog. I thought last year was a lot better bands wise than this year but there were some definite highlights!
Was up the front for pantera, loved the set but as soon as they came on people rushed forward sandwiching everyone, had to move back out of fear of being crushed but had a amazing time once I found a safe place
1:51:51 me and my friends usually have like a scheduled meeting point incase someone gets lost , because even with a phone the signal sucks , for example "if we get lost, let's meet at this flag pole after limp bizkit" or "we can meet outside yorky pud at 17:00 if we get lost" etc
I really enjoyed this vlog, I put some large headphones on and it felt like I was there with you 😊, I went to my first DL in 2006 and now I'm 38 with a 2 year old unable to go due to commitments living vicarously through vlogs 😅haha
You guys werent too far behind me and my girlfriend, saw myself in the forst avemged clip, purple hair ue battle jacket, absolutely love the stage (song)

(I was at the barrier too a bit to the left of you guys)... small world lol subbed 😊
I was GUTTED about Electric Callboy too. Exactly the same situation with not being able to see them last download and missing out on their tour. I was so looking forward to it!
@@TheAltCouple Will take the time to properly watch it in a bit. There's a few download vlogs in my watch later playlist too. It seems the mud really can't be understated but sounded like still some good acts. Not as good lineup as last year though. Will have to see what 2025 brings
Hi, can I just ask. was that all your rubbish at the end left on the ground? could have just been the edit of the video but you showed a tent full of rubbish that was still on the ground when you pulled the cart away. great video but would be disappointing if you did leave so much rubbish behind
It was our rubbish. Most of it was in a bin bag but we asked for a bin bag to put all the other bits in and the woman was like ‘it’s nearly 12, you need to leave’ and she didn’t give us anything to put it in so we just tried to keep it in a pile so it could easily be scooped up. Majority of our rubbish was binned over the weekend to the bins provided however.
We went through all our bin bags and before we left asked the staff around camp for another one so we could tidy up but they said it’s almost 12, you need to leave Yeah, weather can’t be helped but still lots of fun 🤩
