I've been only making 3d games in Unity, but watching the whole team collaborating on the game's art, animation, and style is seriously amazing. Everything looks so dynamic and stylish (especially since i dont know much about pixel art).
Can't wait for the game to be released so that I can experience it firsthand.

Happy to see the third dev diary so soon! The combat is looking fun and fluid, the enemies are getting so many unique animations, it's really cool to see some of them in action!
I'd love to see more of the boss ideas, I sense that the instant ally summoning could be utilised well for boss battles, as well as world Interaction and secret areas. ^^

At around 8:50 it was mentioned that the Kitsune fight is the first "mandatory" boss fight. Does that mean this game will have secret/optional boss fights?
Also I really like the look of the oni lady ally! She looks really pretty and I'm excited to see more of her role in the game, as well as the other allies. (I'm assuming she's an oni based on the other themes in the game)

Thank you so much for your kind words! Regarding the secret fights, yes, we're planning to scatter a few throughout the game!
