Stay away from this place at all costs. This is worse than Scientology & Primerica. I was hired at USHA here in AZ recently. Except they use the name Tomahawk Group here. I had to dig deep to research the USHA connection. I've had my insurance licenses for a decade. The USHA recruiter hired me in 10 minutes. No background check or anything. That was red flag #1. What I found odd was the recruiter showed me his computer monitor with his salary & his employees salaries. Apparently the recruiter makes $770k yearly. All of his sales agents make $400k- $700k yearly. I made a joke and said "Damn, not even Neuro surgeons make this much" He then tells me how countless Drs & Neuro surgeons have actually left their medical careers to be sales agents for USHA (Yea and I'm Santa Claus). I'm sure Neuro surgeons want to work at an outbound call center cold calling people 10 hours a day. LMAO. This was red flag #2. If you've ever worked at an outbound call center- You know what I'm talking about. Especially today in 2023. Everyone has caller ID. 95% of people you cold call are either #1- Not going to answer. #2- Hang up on you and/or yell at you. If you research USHA on RUclips- There are no bad videos. Every video is ran by USHA. It's nothing but happy agents with huge fake smiles. If you look at Glassdoor or Indeed reviews- They get a perfect score. Clear as day to me that USHA has their employees give perfect reviews. I hate to burst anyone's bubbles. But you're not gonna make half a million a year cold calling people for insurance plans. A reputable company is not going to welcome you with open arms. Hire you in 10 minutes. Then pay you $30,000 monthly in commissions. Not to mention- You have to pay THEM $150 a month to use their dialer. Places like this prey upon people who are stressed about money. People who are stressed they can't pay their rent & support their family. Which is the majority of society these days. It's very sinister & deceptive.
It’s a good company, it will give you a captive contract (you can’t work for another company), its COMMISSION ONLY, good opportunity but it can also be really tough when you’re new and maybe even go a month or two only making $50-$1000. Working full time. After a few years the money is more stable.
My cousin joined and make 3k after 2 months and everyone keeps trying to tell him that he’s making below minimum wage working 7 days a week 12 hours a day but he keeps saying that everyone there is making half a million dollars their first year and sees no red flags in that
No and yes…. They have a similar set up, and once you have your own branch you can have people under you and you benefit off of their policies sold. But that’s kind of like ANY sales company.
You do not get paid and have to pay $109 upfront to get hired, which is a monthly recurring fee. they give bad leads and you have to buy your leads and $200 plus to get certified
Also not a small business benefits specialist position, just masked as one, 11 hour days and they shame you if you do not show up to office 7 days a week
Hey Phil, do you mind sharing why you left? One of their top producers is trying to recruit me, I want to be successful in this business and do it as ethical and efficient as possible, any thoughts?
@@elmtv461 if you have any info, I'd love if you could share with me as well. I did am interview & became interested & am now doing my research on them to see if it's worth the investment to work with them.
I left this company after awaking to many of the not so true things they teach new agents. Since then I’ve gone fully independent as a broker. I would suggest any one currently with usha to leave immediately. And remember. THEY OWN YOUR BOOK!! Not you. So if you leave they keep ALL OF IT. and. Your residuals drop to 2% after renewal.
Type in usha reviews and go read them... there are mostly bad reviews and the good reviews seem like someone was holding a gun to that person head as they were typing. Many of poor reviews come from current employees. Go read them yourself
@@healthymealthy775All they care about is hiring agents so that, eventually, a few of those people will be good enough to hire their own people. They tell you that it’s “your business” but they take a portion of your money. You have to pay for everything while they get a piece of your pie, and a piece of that pie moves up the chain, thus making it a MLM AKA a pyramid scheme. It seems too good to be true when they recruit you, and they tell you what you want to hear. They tell you you’re special and that you will make a lot of money, which you absolutely can, if you’re willing to sell your soul. It’s terrible insurance that is way overpriced compared to ACA (which is subsidized for a lot of people). You are expected or “encouraged” to work 12 hours a day, every day in order to make it “work”. The selling process is extremely mind numbing and requires you to be very pushy. I was calling over 600 leads a day, making my own leads through Facebook (which was successful for a time) and doing whatever I could to make it work, but then I stumbled on Facebook comment sections and indeed reviews and started to peel back the onion and realized that this company is a pyramid scheme disguised as a UnitedHealthCare company.
I have a contract with USHealth. Not a scam or MLM. It’s not for everyone different strokes for different folks type deal. Just because it wasn’t the right fit for you doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work for someone else. Watch the video he makes a lot of really good points.

You are a sorry salesman. If you don't sound knowledgeable and enthusiastic over the phone, then you won't sale anything.
It seems like u left in ten minutes as well people expect to make great returns in the first year and that’s the problem

Exactly, it’s a pyramid scheme. He says MLM but he means pyramid scheme.
Really appreciated this
Welcome!
I produced $1.2 million for usha in the 1.5 years. I left. Left my residuals. Left a $45k bonus. And I still left.
Plenty of time to make even more money =)
