it is established that the dm_npcs cant see the viewmodel, also, this is gmod13 with the vrmod addon you cant trick me or maybe, you can improve the way you make these, i recommend (if you using a quest 2) buying the elite battery strap, and along with that, the touch pro controllers, if you want to make good type 5s, you gotta have the best tracking possible, and (if you on quest) you should record your videos with the headset outside during cloudy weather, that way, you can have a very big playspace and wont need to use the left thumbstick much to move around unless its for slight adjustment. or you could skip all of that and use Cascadeur to animate fake mocap movements instead, its pretty useful, especially when you record your vr movement in steamvr and use Cascadeur to predict where you body should be and what its doing. there are many ways of faking type 5 demos, but the most popular one is using the valve index w/ full body tracking, true pcvr stuff, along with mocap fusion vr for motion capture, and import those movement to sfm where they can be turned into a demo have fun figuring out what any of that means
