      @@skyelark155 So far so good. I'm going to do a full review this spring. Set up was easy and the cut looks more even than ever.

    I hope the rest of your season got a bit easier. Like you I installed my mower last year myself. I had to make a few adjustments but overall it went smoothly. I am looking forward to the 2020 season 👍

      I had to make many adjustments throughout the season last year, especially on the north side of the lawn which has a large slope. The mower would get stuck more and more in certain sections, especially as the wheels dug into the dirt and ended up reducing grip in that region. It's more the yard being sloped higher than the mower is spec'd for than the mower itself. Overall, not bad, though. This coming season will be much better. For the money, though, I'm thinking the new Worx mowers are probably better, as they have a WiFi card as well as an offset blade that allows the mower to trim past the boundary wire. I may get one of those after this Husqvarna has paid for itself.

    A tip to solve your problem is to do a calibration of the mower and when doing that, dont have it at level. Then it can do more then 15% grade easily😎

      It just doesn't have enough grip at 15%. Nothing to do with calibration.

      @@doctormosfet you can put screws in the treds of the rubber rear wheels and it will have the traction you need. Just screw them in the treads and leave the screw sticking out 1/4 of an inch and your done

      @doctormosfet  2 года назад

      @@yellowsnowman9157 yeah I considered something like that, but on my particular lawn I think it would ruin the lawn.

    • @yellowsnowman9157

      @@doctormosfet you should reconsider. Screws with round heads sticking a little further out than treads aren't going to tear up the lawn more than the existing treads. If it grips better it may tear it up less with less wheel spin.
      It's just like wearing golf shoes to play. It doesn't tear up the grass when you walk. The spike is so small and grass isn't fragile.
      Either way, good luck and thanks for the review. Do you still have this mower all these years later? Are you still happy with it?

      @@yellowsnowman9157 that's interesting. Have you tried this? Essentially this increases the tread density which can cause the tire to clog up faster in wet terrain (I used to race a lot off road dirt r/c, so I'm familiar with this), but on the other hand it could dig in more. The problem I see is that the programming on these automowers doesn't do a great job of detecting when the mower is really stuck and just spinning its wheels. In those situations, it just digs in and completely ruins the grass in that section. The screws may reduce the likelihood of this happening, but when it does happen, there will be even more damage to the grass, which is really annoying as it can take a full season for that grass patch to recover (on my lawn).
      I've been using the 315X each season since I purchased it and it has been a reliable little worker. If my lawn were flatter, I would use it until it died, but as you can see, my lawn is pretty rough in some areas. I just picked up a 435X and will be installing that for this season going forward. I'll make a few videos of it...

    husqvarna has a terrain wheel kit, did you give those a whirl? (better traction) www.husqvarna.com/us/accessories/installation/terrain-kit/581889702/

      Haven't tried those yet. Basically a deeper, less dense tread that might not work so well on my yard that has a lot of rocks in some sections.
