  • NH₃ has the highest boiling point because it experiences stronger hydrogen bonding compared to the weaker London dispersion forces in H₂ and N₂. Comparing N2 and H2, the greater molar mass of N2 means it will have a higher boiling point than H2.
    Here are the boiling points for each substance:
    H2 boils at -252.8C
    N2 boils at -195.8C
    NH3 boils at -33.1C

    Question: why during reaction of MnO2 and HCl, MnO2 get converted into MnCl2 and not MnCl4 ?

    • @wbreslyn
      @wbreslyn  3 месяца назад

      I'd guess that MnO4 isn't as stable as MnO2. Mn2+ has half filled 3d orbitals which would be more stable than 4+

      You might look at my website under Gas Laws (breslyn.org/) for some info there. I also have some specific videos for atm and mmHg on my channel. If you search youtube for convert mmHg or convert atm they should come up. Hope that helps!

      Tell your mom thanks! Unfortunately Thermochem is the one area I've not created much content. It's on the list but it'll be a while. Any other topics you need help with?
      You can also take a look at my website, www.Breslyn.org for other topics though, lots of free guides that link to my videos there.

    OK all I’m just asking is just gonna be like a 15 minute video for each unit and that’s it for a P kids I think you can do like Thermo chemistry I haven’t learned and since our teacher was on leave of absence because he was having a child he teaches AP but yeah just like can you at least Try to start it that would be fun if you could at least try like started it shouldn’t take you that long but at least try to do a video for thermochemistry I like started maybe in July or August for like a 15 minute video if that’s fine if you don’t want to do it I’m just asking for it thank you for the feedback was very nice of you should be my last comment so yeah
