  • Alec is buff as sh*t. Let's face it. He is Ramin's personal trainer and part time therapist, owner of Get Rippt, and dancer in Moulin Rouge on Broadway. Their relationship goes back a long time, and they're always pushing each other to get better physically and mentally.
Alec moved to New York City in 2013 to pursue careers in Theater and Fitness. Since then, he has performed in musicals, such as Disney’s Aladdin, Mamma Mia!, Spamalot, and 50 Shades the Musical!, he has appeared on shows such as Boardwalk Empire, Katy Keene, and HBO’s The Normal Heart, and danced with artists, including Ciara and Todrick Hall. During this time, Alec has also become a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has been personal training for 6 years and has trained clients of all different ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds. With a background in dance, he specializes in bodyweight workouts, endurance training, and stability training, but also excels in strength, toning, and body building. Alec has taught fitness classes around the country and has recently been teaching online bodyweight bootcamp classes during the quarantine period to help his followers and clients stay motivated and in shape from home. Another great interview. You are introducing so many hardworking and creative people for others to meet and support. Just want to say, regarding FG and Lea and your role as Nicky Arnstein. When Streisand did the show, Nicky was almost an afterthought (the real Nicky was actually concerned about how he was going to be portrayed). Sydney Chaplin was a modest singer (Tony winner for Bells Are Ringing), but couldn't dance and had a falling out with Barbra, so he actually left the show because he became virtually invisible in the show. In the film, pretty much the same thing - however handsome Omar Sharif was - Streisand was the star and she let you know it. With you, and the incredible relationship/chemistry you have with Lea - and Harvey's adjustments to the book - the audience is being treated to a real relationship between Fanny and Nicky. While the story is fictionalized, they were very bound to one another (it wasn't until just before Fanny died, that she finally got over him and cried every night for years). You took on a thankless role and made it real and special. Lea would be terrific on her own (as was Barbra), but to have an amazing Nicky on stage with her is what makes FG what it is and the challenging Act II work. Sorry about your elbow - but that couch scene is amazing. So happy this turned out to be a success for you.

So pleased you are both emphasising health and function over appearance! One can be healthy and very functional without a 6 or 8 pack. My 78yo mother loves doing TGUs, yet looks like a traditional granny. In Lycra.

    Thanks again Ramin 🙏.
My only exercise is Japanese Radio Taiso 😂. And of course gardening!! Tap dancing was one of my exercises before.
By the way, I would love to see Broadway Barbara as a guest!!!!!!
