I am a Namibian living in New Zealand. Working here for 3 years and then I go back to my beloved Namibia. I like New Zealand. It's also an amazingly beautiful country, but my heart lies in Namibia. I worked at Onkonjima Lodge for many years. I will always be a Namibian. I will go back.
this video brings back so many memories..love the soundtrack ....your trip.reminds me of the ranger oddessy 2015 trip we made driving through similar routes..palmwag ..huraib...spitzkoppe ...Namibia is a fantastic place...love to go back...
As Namibian, and having travelled the country extensively, this video reminded me of what our Creator gave us. Thank you Bernhard for sharing your experience. PS: Next time, explore the Skeleton Coast up to Kunene River mouth.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Saul Thomas I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
My emotions run deep when I watch your video, as it reflects nearly the exact route I did with my wife and son, together with a very close friend in November/January 2016, probably whilst you were there! Perhaps we may have even crossed paths! Thank you for the video and congratulations on a great job in producing it. Warm regards from South Africa.
What a spectacular portrayal of Namibia, the most complete I have seen by far, amazing. Can't wait for my journey in Aug 2019, will spend a total of 30 days to celebrate my 30th.
this "scorpion tail rock" at 8:03 ...where is that? i was in NAM a few weeks ago .. and will def. return there in 2024! what an experience, what a country, and these people! nice video!! i also do a NAM playlist of our trip (if ya interested)
Wonderful video. Reminded us of our Trip - extremely similar, but in Reverse Order starting (& ending) in Windhoek, clockwise. We cheated though using Quality Lodges & Hotels for accommodation. Wheels - Hired .. ? Where from and Whom ? Camping equip’t included ? Thanks
Very well filmed and edited - a big effort by the authors. I would have preferred some narrative to give information about the trip but that's just my opinion. Well done.
From Purros south-west (Hoarusib) to Leylands Drift (offroad), further south-east to Amspoort, Hoanib until Sesfontein, further C43 (Palmwag) and C39 until Twyfelfontein.
Love your video. Would you mind if I used a few segments of your video for a band to try to promote themselves? They are very talented and I’ll gladly credit you within the video. Many thanks. Nereida Littrell
Hi,@@bernhardnaef7828, you're very thoughtful. Having not heard from you, I went with what I had. However, if or when I complete another Namibia video, I'll definitely alert you and include you in the credits. You did a great job in labelling your locations and in your transitions. Your video was clear and much of your footage evoked emotion. I really enjoyed your video and have subscribed to your channel. You have a talent! Thank you so much for sharing it. Nereida
1. Kingdom (Capo Productions) 2. My Last Day (End of song, Gary Numan) 3. Unknown (sorry!) 4. Shores Of Respite (Sarah Class) 5. Running To The Rain (modified, Peter Gabriel)
Very good videography, well edited, sadly it gave no real info that's a big pity. I did like it though, music got a bit overwhelming. Too much driving shots and no human interaction, a real opportunity missed. I liked the hot air balloon shots, can you give details of that operator perhaps? But in all good stuff Ben
Such a beautiful country with such wonderful people !! I am sure you did something for the poor of Namibia and didn't just mindlessly ignore them as you were pampered in your off roading adventure!! So difficult to find four star lodges in Africa don't you know !!
Fabulous Namibia. Excellent routes... A Place to visit in a lifetime..... Definitely Reliable Toyota Land cruiser 70

I'm trying to plan a trip. Are you going to do it on your own or with a travel company?
I been there on my F650 Dakar and Malte on his MZ Bhagira in 2003. Awesome ride.

aaaand 9:45 where's that 😲 (before Vogelfederberg)
It is located at Twyfelfontein itself, at the end of the guided hike on the left flank of the mountain.
The clip of the passing car (after Swakopmund) was taken from the Vogelfederberg, the tunnel view is the Vogelfederberg.@@subsonic76
Photography was good Bernard. The landscape was captured pretty well.
Wonderful video. Reminded us of our Trip - extremely similar, but in Reverse Order starting (& ending) in Windhoek, clockwise. We cheated though using Quality Lodges & Hotels for accommodation.

Loved your video. Do you perhaps have a trip report that you can share?
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this!!!
I really look forward to go to namibia... it will happen soon! :)
sehr schön gemacht - viel Arbeit gehabt!

Super tolles Video!

Great video, do you remember what roads you took driving south from Puros to damaraland?
From Purros south-west (Hoarusib) to Leylands Drift (offroad), further south-east to Amspoort, Hoanib until Sesfontein, further C43 (Palmwag) and C39 until Twyfelfontein.
Thank you so much
Ótimo, Boas imagens.
Do you have a track map? Doing the same trip this year!

Botswana 4x4 is coming next!
Landcruiser is tough.
The car is japanese pride.
I think Southern African Land Cruisers 70 series are made in Portugal. Mine is. Just a fun fact, I know Toyota is a Japanese company.
@@niceguy100000 but the design is Japanese, any other country is producing them under Toyota Japanese Franchise to the Japanese spec.
MAGNIFIQUE !!!!!!!!!
very beauty nature
❤️ Africa.
min. 1:07 it' Okaukuejo camp?

Wow, impressive - what equipment did you use (gimbal?) and what program did you use to author the movie?
Movie made with Final Cut Pro X. Recorded with Canon XF100 and GoPro (no gimbal, only tripod and suction cup).
Thanks!
